Spent a weekend at the Willard and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return. The lobby is beautiful and the room was perfect. Historic but updated, lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Attached to Cafe du Parc, where we had a lovely breakfast. Close to metro center metro station. Nice walk to the National Mall. Walgreens, Starbucks, Paul... More

This hotel is in a prime location. Everything is within walking distance and when it isn't, the metro is about two blocks away or uber is super convenient in DC. The room was larger than I was expecting from a historic hotel. The check-in desk and bell hops were wonderful. Loved the bar on location. Customer service when things aren't... More

The Willard is a beautiful hotel in the middle of all the tourist destinations Washington D.C. has to offer. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights with our two young kids in June and had a nice time. The hotel cafe is in a great spot for people watching and the hotel itself is fun to explore. For such... More

The Willard is a 5 star hotel in a great location near the White House. The lobby takes your breath away when you walk in-it has been beautifully restored. Our room was spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. But it was the room that brought the hotel from 5 to 3 stars. When we opened the blinds, we discovered... More

Well I feel thats the second closest hotel to the Obama's after the "W". Its a heritage property and quite a decent place to live in. Two blocks away from a Grocery store makes life easy and cheap. Two restaurants in the entry and a decent pub at W makes it comfy enough. House keeping is excellent and the staff... More

My wife and I only spent one night at the Willard on 7/23/16. We both agreed we liked everything about the hotel Here are the adjectives I would use to describe our stay: Large, clean classy, and most assuredly convenient to downtown DC. I will definitely go back the next time I am in DC.

While I don't think it quite hits the 5 star mark, this is a great hotel in a fabulous location, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. My big complaint- the beds! How hard is it to get either fitted sheets or sheets that will cover the entire mattress? I shouldn't have to remake the bed in the middle of... More

We were able to take a long weekend to DC and decided we needed location as a place to stay! The Willard was in the center of all the major attractions. Our room was ready by 11am and the staff were nice enough to let us check in early. And they held our bags when we checked out till our... More

Perfect location right down the street from the White House. It has great restaurants on property as well as our favorite (The Hamilton) right out the back door. The room was well appointed, comfortable and classy. It is an old hotel which I normally don't like, but it was completely updated. It was on par with other area hotels for... More

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family and I can't say enough positive things about the staff, the food and the proximity to all the historical attractions that DC has to offer. It's located just blocks from the White House and within walking distance to the Smithsonian museums. The interior of this historic hotel is nothing short of spectacular!... More
