I am so happy to be back at The Willard, my home away from home! It truly is one of the greatest hotels in the world, it's old world charm tucked in every corner. In a portfolio of amazing properties, this is one of IHG's best, right up there with Le Grand in Paris and Park Lane in London. After a 2.5 years hiatus for obvious reasons, I now can come back to our HQ and I get to stay here, without question, the best hotel in the city, one steeped in history. The public spaces are grand and thoughtful. The rooms are comfy, some with epic views. The restaurants and food are uniformly excellent. But it is the staff that truly makes this a warm and welcoming place. Special thanks to Mr. Tezyurek, who makes my every stay feel special. The front desk is always so friendly and accommodating. Finally, the location cannot be beat. You are walking distance from everything you want to see if you're touring. For business, it's equally well-located. Fun fact, if you don't already know: The word "lobbyist" came from the 1800s when lawmakers would congregate in the lobby of The Willard to make deals.

Hotel's Favorite
The location does not get better. This hotel is located in the heart of DC, within walking distance to most attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful if a tad intimidating on arrival. However, the friendliness of the staff is incomparable. The attention to detail sells the stay. I will definitely return.

We picked this hotel mainly for the location. It was within walking distance or a short metro ride from basically anywhere we wanted to go. Just a 2-minute walk to where we needed to check in for a White House tour. It was convenient to be able to stop in for a break from the heat in the middle of the day. Our room was not ready at the 3pm check in time, so we had to wait in the lobby for a little while. The front desk gave us a map of all of the state seals on the ceiling, and my 7-year old enjoyed finding our home state. The room itself (a classic room) was large, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. We were on a quiet hallway near the back elevator. We appreciated the daily housekeeping service and extra complimentary water bottles. Our hotel robes disappeared and never reappeared which was slightly disappointing. The Nespresso machine was a fun treat. The little museum on the lobby level near the back elevator is interesting!

We booked a willard suite for a night passing through DC and expected to have a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately we had a disappointing room experience and disappointing service. Suite 208, checking in Aug 6th and out Aug 7th The service * We had afternoon tea to the room, and they did not actually open the table for service, and then we asked them to clean it and when we came back to the room 3 hours later it had not been addressed. We cleaned it ourselves and pushed the cart into the hall, where it sat for 1.5 hours. * We had to call 3 times and wait over an hour for a bucket of ice The room * There was a piece of wood just sitting on the floor next to the nightstand * The "suite with a view" is under the overhand of the front entrance, so the top 4' of the view are blocked by concrete. * We asked them to set the mini fridge up for personal use, but it wasn't cold. * The suite wraps around the elevator bank, so you get the pleasure of mechanical noise every 10-20 seconds + overhearing every conversation of coming and going from the elevator while you're trying to sleep. * Generally the room is in need of a full refresh. Overall very disappointed for what was an $800, 1 night stay.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Willard at the end of July/early August. The hotel was beautiful, staff were friendly, and our room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our Cafe du Parc breakfasts and had fantastic cocktails every night in the Round Robin bar. In addition to all this, the location was fantastic, in easy walking distance of the National Mall and a CaBi bike rack right outside. Plus several quick service options within a block or two for a grab and go breakfast if needed. We will be back!

An outstanding experience at the Intercontinental Willard Hotel. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. It was full of guests having High Tea in Peacocks Alley. A museum of the hotel's history. Excellent meals at cafe parc. A special thank you to the Guest Relations Manager Ali Ozan Tezyurek. He's Top notch, excellent 5 stars.

We are a family of four. We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel staff from the front desk, valet, concierge, bellmen, barista at Cafe d Parc and housekeeping were all friendly and made our stay a delightful one. The hotel is elegant chic. The location is just perfect with close proximity to major attractions, restaurants and cafes. We would definitely stay at the Willard when we come to DC.

Beautiful. Great location. Good service. For a hotel this price and this famous, they need to replace the historic rock hard lumpy mattresses and pancake flat pillows! I’d give it four stars but I’d probably stay elsewhere if asked again. I have a solid Dad bod and I need my comfy mattress

My family and I love the hotel and we would definitely stay again. My 2 year old loved jumping in the beds and eating her crème Brûlée in the room. There wasn’t anything about that hotel that we did not like. It is in a great location and the rest restaurant is good as well!
