The doorstaff was very friendly and helpfull. The rooms OK. Reception desk chaotic. We were a group who had asked to stay on the same floor, but was on three different. Check-out confusing, something like "Fawlty Towers". The hotel was fully booked which can excuse the chaos.

I've stayed here several times as a conference hotel. It's a few blocks from Union Station and the Senate side of the Capitol so a the best part about this hotel is the location. And the Service. The place is simply dated. I worked on Capitol Hill for years before moving away and it seems to be stuck in a...

A reasonably priced hotel for the D.C. area that is somewhat "upscale". The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is close to the metro and a great little convenience store on the corner that has a take out kitchen upstairs. I don't remember the name of it, but it is next to the fire station on the...

I was here last July for a work conference. The business areas work well, but like all conferences, the room was freezing. As for the room, it was nice, it worked for what I needed. My biggest ick factor, is that the coffee maker is in the bathroom....I'm not even sure why they would do that, when there was a...

I consider myself a very fussy traveler and my family will attest to that - we've left restaurants and hotels in the past that I felt were sketchy. So I was happy to find that this hotel was clean and very modern and updated. Don't know what a previous reviewer was referring to that the hotel was a "bit tired...

To be honest, I only stayed here because my hotel of choice was sold out. My expectation level was low. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect. It is only a couple blocks away from the Congress and the mall. Lots and lots of restaurants and touristy things are within walking distance, as are the house and senate...

Overall, the hotel was very nice. A bit overpriced, but still a good value. The event that soured everything, however, was a bad experience with the front desk guy named Anthony G. He was surly and basically called me a liar before he discovered that the hotel had made a sloppy mistake on my reservation. Never apologized and he seemed...

This was my fourth trip to DC in a year, business and fun. I stayed here for a week on business this time, but of course, I tried to get around a little in the evenings to take in the sights. The good: the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Proximity to Union Station is convenient for travel to...

The staff was very nice, but the hotel has issues. Twice we were without water in our room and when it came back on it was black coming out of the faucet. The stool ran continuously. And, they charge for everything. $10 just to print a shuttle pass, No place to heat up anything (no microwave). Don't order toast unless...
