Stayed at the Fairfax Embassy for 5 nights and the service could not have been better . Staff organised travel for my return to the airport then offered me a later checkout to suit the circumstances . This hotel is on the edge of DuPont circle so provides ease of access to Metro underground rail service which take you to...

Choosing a hotel in a city you don't know is always a bit of a lottery but we were delighted with our 4 nights here. Our spacious room was very comfortably furnished and very well maintained. Staff were helpful and welcoming and the bar was buzzy with simple bar food. Included breakfast was an unexpected extra and we enjoyed a...

My wife and I stayed at the Fairfax at Embassy Row for our Honeymoon trip to DC. We took Uber from the airport (40 mins) and were immediately greeted by the friendly bellhops, Makida, and Q. The two ladies at the front desk welcomed us to DC and surprised us with a beautiful honeymoon gift. They made us feel like...

I would have given 5 stars, had it not been for a little billing dispute. I discovered well after I returned home that there was an extra $100 charged at the time of the check-in. The hotel accounting dept claimed that it was a mistake by my credit card company since it was supposed to be just authorization and told...

We were pleased to read you enjoyed your accommodations, services, and overall visit and we thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry for any inconvenience you endured with billing. Without all the details on hand it is hard to comment in this form, but, please know that an incidental charge is simply a hold...

If younger looking for a "4 star" pampering hotel, this is not it. Older hotel, has nothing to do, not a welcoming lobby or rooms. Tv is not fully HD, analog most channels. The best thing is the location of the hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights at the fairfax at the end of March and really enjoyed it. The check in was great and even got an upgraded room, cocktail vouchers and complimentary breakfast one of the mornings because it was our anniversary. The room was lovely. The staff are really friendly and the hotel is in a great location ....

Small boutique hotel feel which we like. Room was very nice traditional decorated. Best hotel shower ever! Spotless housekeeping. Quiet, reserved atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk and doorman valet. Delicious breakfast buffet priced reasonably to start the day prior to touring. Very convenient 4 minute walk to Dupont Metro Station where you hop on to tour...

Stayed here using air miles as the only way of paying under $400/night for a decent night's sleep in the city. Great location and I was really pleased with the size of my room, it was massive, but there was no natural light whatsoever which made me not want to spend any time in it. And all fixtures/furnishings very dated...

We stayed at the Fairfax at Embassy Row in Washington, D.C. This beautiful hotel is located near if not in the DuPont Circle.
