We loved this beautiful hotel! Our suite overlooked the White House and Washington Monument. The hotel staff provided exceptional service throughout the weekend. Food and adult beverages were fabulous.

Hotel's Favorite
I came to DC for business and didn't know what to expect. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. From check-in to check-out everything was flawless. The building is older and very well maintained. The food service was impeccable, everything from room service to meals in the restaurant were delicious. I'd put The Hay-Adams in the top group of hotels I've visited.

My wife and I made our first trip to a hotel since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the U.S. and chose the Hay-Adams for our inaugural trip. (No pun intended.) The hotel takes Covid precautions VERY seriously, but that doesn't stop the staff from being incredibly warm and welcome. The room was perfect and beautifully prepared for occupancy. The tables in the restaurant were well spaced. Everything in the hotel was looked after carefully. The staff were their usual welcoming selves! Once you looked beyond the masks, it was the usual warm and friendly team making our stay memorable and special.

We stayed at Hay Adams twice in the past 6 weeks... No doubt it is the best location in Dc! Amazing view of the White House Great food Great brunch Best eggs Benedict I ever had... Emmanuel was amazing as our server on both visits. Victoria (Manager on Duty) was world class... Loved room 406 (White House view) and room 730 The front office/Concierge team is as good as I experienced at the Connaught London or the Ritz Paris... We will return Olivier and Delia

Dear Olivier and Delia, Thank you for your fantastic review! I am thrilled you enjoyed the views, the food and most importantly the world class service. At the Hay-Adams, we like to say: "where nothing is overlooked but The White House". Happy to see we were able to do that for you, and I look forward to your next visit.

I can say nothing negative about this property or the staff. I was in town for only one night and splurged on a White House view room. It was awesome. You walk right into the view of the White House. The room is impeccably clean and decorated in a stately manner. The bed was extremely comfortable. I honestly think I may have been the only person on my floor because I did not hear a single soul. Concierge arranged for a driver to take me around the Monuments in the evening after a delicious dinner at the Lafayette so I could take some pictures at night. Everyone greeted me with a smile on their face. I recommend staying at this hotel and eating at the Lafayette.
