The hotel is in such a great location! It's on a quiet tree lined street within walking distance to multiple eateries, cool spots, and the metro. After having a terrible experience at another hotel the night before, we decided to book a stay here and are glad we did! If only we had chosen Hotel Madera to start!! We were greeted at the door by Antoine and he was a hoot. Loved him!! Maggie checked us in and gave us such a warm welcome. She made us feel right at home. Even though the hotel was busy, she was kind and helpful. Maggie even found a room for us to check into early! We stayed in a 2 queen room. It was clean and HUGE with a balcony! The bathroom was a great size. Four of us were in the room and there was ample space!! One of the staff members, Jarrell, was such a pleasant gentleman. He was extremely helpful and made sure we made it to our room safely after a long night out. He really went the extra mile. The hotel was very quiet. We slept great and the beds were comfy. Eventually, our amazing time at the hotel came to an end but the excellence continued even at check out! Essam was quick to retrieve our luggage and he was also so nice!! We were able to see Maggie again and tell her how much we enjoyed our stay. I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Madera. Please do yourself a favor and book a stay here when you are in DC. You will not regret it! Antoine, Maggie, Jarrel, and Essam were just the cherry on top of an already great hotel experience! We will be back!

The great service began when I called to change a reservation and actually spoke to Maggie at the property and not at a call center. We met Taylor on arrival and she was a font of smiles and positive energy as well as local info. She gave us an overview of amenities as well as perfect directions to the metro, how to purchase fares and its hours of operation. She provided a printed list of local restaurants highlighting her favorites. She, Maggies and the staff at the front desk and Firefly took care of us. I was honestly surprised at the high level of services. Perfect location and a great value. I will definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting DC.

Madera is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. A grocery store in short walking distance. The hotel is super family and pet friendly with overly large rooms. All the staff were gracious, welcoming and provided exceptional service. This will not be the hotel we book when we visit DC and will spread the word to our friends. Essam was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure our family was accommodated! We love Madera!

Hotel Madera is a true gem in DuPont Circle. The hospitality from all of the staff make you feel instantly comfortable! The room was spectacular and had a great view of the city. The bathroom was spacious and included a waterfall shower. The hotel had great amenities also including free wifi, a cocktail hour and a fitness center. Everything you need is immediately in your vicinity and it’s a short trip to other neighborhoods in Washington D.C. My stay was relaxing, refreshing, and luxurious, I can’t wait to come back. I included a few screenshots from a video a took at the end of my stay 🥲
