I was able to check in a few hours early to get out of the frigid cold. My front desk customer representative, Theresa Thomas, was amazing. She went out of her way to accommodate my request! And Sang Tang, my server for breakfast, was likewise great. I worked at the table long after the buffet had closed and she continued... More

The Capital Hilton is a perfect place to stay in Washington, DC. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and they all go out of their way to assist you with every need. The location is ideal and its in a very safe neighborhood. The Statler Lounge is a great location for drinks and dinner. The rooms are large and... More

I stayed for 4 nights and over all had a very good stay. I was particularly surprised by the courteous service. Except for one encounter at breakfast with the manager at duty, each and every staff member I interacted with was helpful, friendly and pleasant. The door men always greeted with a smile and opened the doors or offered to hail... The facility is basically quite good. Although ther are parts of the meeting area that is starting to show it's age. Staff was helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Restaurant and food is different story. Service was a bit slow. We had burgers at the bar. Sent them back twice and it still was right. To their credit we were not charged... More

We stayed here for several days. The staff was overall friendly. Valets and doormen were the best. We were disappointed in the fact that our safe was broken prior to our arrival and never did get fixed while we were there. The hotel bar is ok but not the best atmosphere. Cold blowing in through the front doors made it... More

We were there as part of the Future City competition and we did enjoy our stay. I had my 6th grade son with me and the Hilton is not really kid friendly (no game room or pool). Enjoyed breakfast every day at North Grill in The Hilton although it was a little pricey; the staff at the Hilton was very... More

I have stayed at the Capital Hilton 2 years in a row for an onsite annual conference and will probably do so again next year, although I am hoping for a change of venue. It's not that there is anything specifically wrong with the hotel or staff, I would just like to experience something different and a higher quality of... More

Only few blocks from the White House, with good rooms and a few shops nearby. With Starbucks just across the street it's a good deal for a short trip. A useful business center in the lobby and a decent gift store.

Just completed a four night business/pleasure stay at the Capital Hilton. As a woman traveling alone, I often find that I receive satisfactory, but not particularly attentive service. This was NOT the case at this hotel. I arrived early in the morning after the middle of the night flight, and was warmly greeted at the front desk by Shen who... More

Older hotel near Metro station that is very up-to-date and well maintained. It still has much of the character that it was built with such as large public areas on main floor and elevators that function well. Room temperature was easy to control and bed was very comfortable. As a diamond member had access to Executive Lounge. No control on... More
