Excellent trip. Worst valet service ever. Over an hour wait time after calling in advance for my car. My rental car was damaged by valet. I loved the location. Close to metro and many restaurants. Hotel room and food was average.

One of the best hotels in Washington DC merges the history with modern times excellent staff and service. I strongly recommend if you are in town for few days. Not too many outles inside the hotel itself but a nice Starbucks just across the street...

A very comfortable week in DC at the Capital Hilton. We had access to the executive lounge, so mornings were easy. Bed was comfortable. The TV signal was, at times, on the fritz, but we didn't miss any TV that we cared about. WiFi worked reliably, but downloads were very slow on the free version. Maid service seemed to forget... Location is good, but needs a refresh. The rooms are pretty tired. The lobby is nice and the restaurant is great for breakfast buffet. However, the rooms are in need of a refresh and remodel. No real complaints, just could be nicer for the money.

There's nothing wrong with this hotel. Bit there is nothing significant either. The executive lounge was a big disappointment. The breakfast was basic and the evening reception was lacking. I was expecting more since this is a proper Hilton hotel.

I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed each stay. I really like the fact that this is a serious business hotel in a fantastic location near the White House - but the gracious staff makes it warm and friendly and not pretentious. The lobby lounge "The Statler" is fun and relaxed with excellent beverages and food. In a... More

Washington DC is expensive for hotels. The Capital Hilton had a very good price and is located blocks from the White House, a Metro station, and a Starbucks all very close. There are multiple places to eat with easy waking distance, many only 1 block away. The rooms are not the best looking, though they have everything you need and... More

I have just made a booking via booking.com and the reception staff would not let my wife check in as they did not recognise the booking reference number. Not only were they rude, they were really unhelpful and said that it was not their responsibility in trying to resolve the problem as there systems were down!!! They did not try... More

Staying at the Capital Hilton once a decade breeds familiarity. The hotel is in great need of refurbishing. The lobby is very tired and run down and reveals that management takes Advantage of their great great location. The room was very satisfactory with a comfortable bed and very clean. Nothing special in today's world but very acceptable. The housekeeping crew... More
