The Renaissance in DC is a solid, dependable hotel for business travelers. Large, comfortable rooms. Bathrooms have been updated. Room service is fairly prompt, decent food. I would definitely stay here again.

I arrived via taxi from Reagan National. Cost of trip was about $25. I was promptly greeted by a bellhop that was very friendly and professional. The check in process was quick and smooth and I found them to also be the most professionals. I specifically requested a room in a faraway quiet corner in order to get a good... More

Good value and location is in walking distance (not around the corner) to the major tourist spots. Room was well equipped with outlets and a comfy chair, desk, fridge... standard amenities. Like most big hotels in DC, expect conference crowds and busy lobbies. Fitness center is on site and the best amenity from my perspective - big and modern with... More

No free WiFi in the rooms. This is the 21st century, correct? Very disappointed. Came here for business and pleasure and run into this issue. Sorry, one of my pet peeves. Ironic I am writing this review on my data and not the free WiFi I should have had.

Dear JerseyRobusa, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience during your stay with us. As we were delighted to have you visit, I see there were some areas of opportunity to take to better your experience. Majority of full service Marriott hotels do charge for WiFi, even in this day and age. In spite of this, all... More

Understandably the hotel was busy with the world energy conference across the street. We were given a room with two doubles but upon again requesting a king (as this is already on my profile preference) they did accommodate with a handicap king room. No problem with the bed or pillows. A/C kept room very comfortable but was a bit loud... More

I stayed one night with a friend who was in town on business. It was easy to get to, great location in DC. Walking distance to pretty much everything. The hotel seems newly renovated and modern. Beautiful lobby and decor. The valet and desk staff were very helpful, polite and happy to help, even considering it was very busy because... More

Lovely polished floors in the lobby gave me a great first impression and it was consistent with the rest of the property. Starbucks near the registration desk was a plus & the decor was eclectic and a bit more upscale than a Marriott typical hotel. There were great gathering places at tables both high and low. A library alcove was... More

We had a great experience at the Renaissance over Labor Day Weekend. The location was convenient but not right in all the craziness of the Mall. It was also close to the Metro Station in Chinatown. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet within the hotel, the service was a little slow but otherwise, food excellent. It may have been because... More

Pros: great location, spacious club lounge, recently renovated, great breakfast at 15 squares, the vida gym located inside the hotel is spectacular, friendly front desk staff. Comfortable bed. Cons: doors are thin so you can hear everything happening in every room in the hallway. Rooms are small and dark. AC unit is super noisy and loud but works really well.... More

We took a family trip here, very nice hotel. Clean, beautiful decor, friendly check in staff. Some nights they have jazz in the lobby. The beds were very clean and comfy, cute bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that it was a bit far out from the main DC attractions, otherwise great stay!
