I stayed here during a conference and business meetings in the CBD. Excellent value and real friendly staff. I can also recommend this hotel for people with disabilities, there special rooms are excellent. It also has an awesome gym.

Beautiful Hotel located near convention center but close enough to walk almost anywhere. The rooms are clean, modern and you'll have a great night sleep. In house Starbucks make coffee easy but he restaurant serves great breakfast.

Booked this hotel through the conference I was attending (the Marriott Marquis which is attached to convention center was sold out), and got a discounted rate via my convention group. The conference was at the convention center, and it was very easy to get from this hotel to the convention. Go through the rear entrance of the hotel off the...

We stayed for 5 nights in a king bed room. The pros and cons are: Pros: - Room had a small refrigerator - They had plenty of plugs available in the room. Some are inconspicuous places so look around. - Good lighting in room. - Lobby offers a variety of seating, particularly areas away from traffic. - They have an...

I am a regular business traveler, but the week after Christmas I brought my family to Washington DC for a few days of sightseeing. I booked at the Renaissance due to previous past experience with other Renaissance properties and the GREAT rate I was able to secure for our three-night stay. I found the hotel to be gorgeous inside- great...

If you have a parcel delivered to this Hotel, be aware that they charge up to US25.00 just for receiving it. More if they have to keep you parcel until your arrival. When I complained about these excessive charges, I was told that they handed their parcel and mail services to FedEx Office. No mention of these charges on the...

I stayed here due to its proximity to my conference and wasn't expecting anything special. I was pleasantly surprised. It's well located within walking distance to tons of restaurants and sightseeing. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bathroom was nice. I had a great view of the Carnegie library. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The attached restaurant (Presidents?) had great...

As a Marriott Rewards Gold member, I asked upon check-in if we might be given a slightly larger room, especially given that we have two teenaged children and my son is now 6'1 so it helps to be able to have a rollaway in the room in addition to two queen or double beds. The front desk rep kindly complied...

Before booking a hotel, I always read reviews of travellers. As this hotel had really positive ones throughout, I felt comfortable staying at the Renaissance. I used to stay at other Renaissance hotels before and was always quite satisfied with it. But this time, I really have to say how disappointed I was with my stay. It all began with...

The rooms were bright and the energies were positive. location is spot on and lacks nothing. Food in all restaurants was great. Service perfect! the lobby always as a buzz - making one feel good and cheerful. The staff all across the hotel were brilliant and flexible. I will certainly stay here on my next trip to DC.
