Thoroughly enjoyed staying there. I believe it is part of the Marriott Chain at some level and we are Marriott people. Very quiet 'club' room on the Concierge level. My only complaint is that we requested a second bath robe and it tool 2 hours to arrive. It was kind of 'time' sensitive and came as we were leaving to...

Attended a wedding reception at the Mayflower in mid-April. It was wonderful. The rooms, food and service were top notch. Staff throughout the hotel were well trained in making sure their guests were comfortable.

Third time here this year and still the same. Rooms are nice and remodeled, but small. Didn't have to hunt down the valet or bell hop this time. No coffee maker in room, broken lamp and a bathroom door that stuck and was hard to close. Basic stuff a quick housekeeping inspection would find. Asked three staff members where a...

Brought my wife down for a business trip. Hotel upgraded me (birthday, Platinum member, wife), which was a special treat. Room was spacious, with excellent bathroom and closet spaces. During happy hour both days, the hotel had in their lobby specially drinks and snacks from their bar/restaurant (margaritas one night with guacamole and chips, and vodka infused iced tea the...

The hotel is located on the same block as Faragut North train station, making subway access very convenient. This is an historic hotel that has been restored to it's original elegance. We had a king room on the fourth floor. As you walk in the room, there is a dressing area on the right and a bathroom at the end...

From the moment we walked into this hotel, we were awestruck with the beauty of the lobby and grand hall. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and our room was delightful! The bathroom was huge compared to what we have experienced on our trip and the amenities great. We had drinks in the bar one evening and we couldn't...

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at the Mayflower last weekend and the only problem was that our stay was to short. The hotel is a perfect blend of classic and modern touches. We were great with a smile by everyone we came into contact with. When we checked in the woman behind the desk knew it...

I still can't get over how meticulously kept the finishes are, just beautiful. I used to inspect hotels ($25M+ commercial loans) for a living and I was still totally impressed. Stunning common areas, beautiful spacious room, super courteous staff, nice restaurant, expensive restaurant, no free breakfast. I must have just arrived from the twilight zone, but I haven't stayed in...

I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels, but this particular Marriott actually feels like your staying in a Marriott (imagine that). In one of the better locations around the city just mere feet away from a safe metro station (and believe me you do a lot of walking around DC this is very critical)... staff is extremely friendly and...

We arrived at the hotel late, but also had a late check in, and they didn't have any rooms available. We got shipped to another hotel at midnight, to spend the night, then got shipped back to the Mayflower in the morning. Huge hassle as we had to cancel our tour because he had to go back to check in...
