Hotel under major renovations and has a temporary lobby with checkin and modest café. As long as you are not on the property between 9A-5P weekdays, the construction is not a problem. I stayed in one of the new rooms, which was delightful, with a 60" tv, extremely comfortable bed and nicely updated bathroom with large stall shower.

With the hotel under construction it may deter some persons but the staff makes up for it. They are super friendly and kind. I had a little issue with the linen in my room but after a call to the desk it was quickly fixed. The breakfast in the lounge is ok but would prefer more hot options. This was...

I highly recommend this hotel. Despite the ongoing construction, the staff here made up for the minor inconvenience. They are very polite, friendly and efficient. You could tell the hotel managers, Mike and Matt, have done a terrific job with instilling the kind of atmosphere and culture that is very inviting and accommodating. I also want specifically thank three staff...

The rooms have been renovated, and I managed to get booked in one of the new rooms. 55" TV on the wall, no tub it's a walk in shower with a good flexible shower head. The service was very good, very polite staff. I enjoyed my stay.

We came to visit my son at school in Georgetown. We tried to fit in a hotel that would be convenient and reasonable to suit our needs. What we found was...a room with a very magnificent view of the city, extra clean and comfortable bed and bathroom. I am a bit of a neat freak and was beyond thrilled. The Manager...

I stayed here during a very busy period in DC in October so hotel prices were high generally. I paid well over $400/night for the room. The hotel's public areas including the lobby, are poorly designed and uninviting, with poor lighting. The hallways are dated and a bit shabby. The room was better, so I usually rushed in and out...

When I stayed here, the hotel is still going through some renovations. I was given a renovated room with two beds. When I got to the room, i noticed the beds were full size and not queens. So I went back down and changed my rooms to a king bed room with no issues. This room was also a renovated...

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the White House and countless excellent restaurants. The midweek pricing is very reasonable. The hotel was shockingly quiet - a very welcome change from most places I stay as a business traveler. But, the best part was the service - the front desk staffer walked me to the elevator, the doorman offered...

I heard so many awful reviews about this hotel that I tried to cancel but couldn't, glad I didn't. Walked in to see a lovely lobby with cookies at the check in desk. My room was great for what I paid, unexpectedly large corner unit facing The Ritz Carlton. Furniture traditional but clean with a nice bathroom. Awesome crab cakes...
