During a recent stay at the JW Marriott in Washington DC, I had a small housekeeping issue upon check-in. Nothing to write home about but I notified the front desk. Long story short, they rectified the problem, gave me a better room and threw in free wifi for good measure. I did not ask nor did the initial problem call...

Our family of 4 (two boys 9 and 11) stayed over the Labor Day weekend. The hotel was in a great location - perfect for visiting the museums and monuments. The room had a view of the Washington Monument. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. We had dinner one night in the Bar/Lounge which was pretty good. Breakfast each morning...

As stated by others, the rooms need renovating; bathrooms are tiny, beds are not the most comfortable, rooms have high humidity so that pillows feel damp and smell, furniture is well worn and rooms are quite plain. However, the great customer service that we received went a long way in making the stay nice. Upon arrival, we were given a...

This was our 2nd stop on a 2 week trip along the East coast. We arrived around Midnight with our 2 teenage daughters (coming from NYC) we were all exhausted beyond! Thank god we had the most terrific gentleman checking us in. We are Gold members and stayed on points along the way for the entire 2 weeks. Well, we...

I was at the hotel with my family for a one night only visit. The hotel offers the usual amenities, the room had a good size, breakfast was good, despite of the staff that was a bit confused and the long wait for an omelet. If breakfast was not included in our rate it would have been too expensive (over...

As a Platinum Premier Rewards Member I've stayed at many JW Properties around the world and this one is more like a Marriott. I was upgraded to a hospitality suite but I didn't understand how uncomfortable a Murphy bed would sleep. This property is ideal for business travelers or people sight seeing. A taxi ride from the airport should cost...

We booked two rooms thinking they had King size beds. We were assigned two double bed rooms. The rooms were very clean and nice but had standard amenities similar to a Doubletree, without the complimentary cookies or free wi-fi. We spent 4 nights here, and except for the location there was nothing noteworthy, not even my daily newspaper was delivered...

Great location. Great value. Spacious, clean room. The staff could not have been nicer, friendlier, or more accommodating. We had a toilet issue, was fixed within an hour of being reported. Would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel this past Friday evening. I picked the JW Marriott because it had the best location to be within walking distance to all of the national monuments. Stayed here for a long weekend and overall it was very nice with a great lobby and rooms were good. For the high price of this hotel though I would not have expected the mold on the shower curtain nor the shower faucet what had the hot and cold reversed. In all the hotel was nice but keep in mind...
