Just went on a four day trip to see the sights in DC. The Hyatt was located in a great place to start our tour each day and just minutes from Union Station. The hotel was very clean. While we didn't eat at the restaurant, there seemed to be numerous guests seated.

We spent five days here, a combination of work and play. The Hyatt was very comfortable, the location was perfect for exploring the National Mall and beyond, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. I'm in agreement with some other reviewers that the rooms could use a bit of a refresh. However, what mattered most to us was...

I felt that having to request a refrigerator and use a public microwave was disappointing. We had to take our many bags out of our room during checkout because of the broken elevator after waiting for 10 minutes for someone to bring a cart up.

A bellhop started yelling at my husband because he was mistaking him for a homeless man. Instead of asking for ID or something, they bellhop just starts yelling from outside a door "you! you! get out!". It was so embarrassing. For this, they gave us a $60 room credit. Unbelievable.

Great location and the food was superb, but rooms and facility not the best. For such a hefty price tag it would be nice for the rooms to be quiet at night and a reliable air conditioner. Overall, would go back but I would bring a fan and an eye mask!

Excellent accommodations, excellent rates, excellent location. The staff is great, in-house bar and restaurant are great places to network with people. Conference facilities very comfortable. Highly recommend this location for a stay in DC.

My wife and I just enjoyed a delightful one week stay at this property. First, a hopefully brief bit of background to explain the title of this review. I recently retired after a road warrior job where I have enjoyed Diamond status for years with both Hyatt and their other H-titled competitor. With my changed travel pattern, this was my...
