We have stayed here multiple times due to its great location and convenient parking. This was the first time I was disappointed. Our room was dated didn't even have a USB plug in. They had upgraded us to a suite but the regular rooms we've previously stayed in were much better. It also was not as clean as previously. There was black hair in the tub on the wall, there was a dead cricket on the middle of the bedroom floor and the mirror in the bedroom was dirty. The customer service was still very good at the desk and in the lobby.

Hello Tup2u, We truly want you to feel at home. The lack of USB chargers and the cleanliness issues made your stay far from perfect, and I apologize for that. I have notified our management about your concerns, and our staff will make sure your futures stays are much better. I hope we get the chance to prove it. Please visit again soon. Alejandro G. Pretty much everything we wanted to see was within walking distance (assuming you can walk a couple of miles without issue). We flew into DCA (Reagan Airport), caught the Metro just outside the airport, and got off at the Lenfant Metro stop which literally put us less than 2 block from the hotel. We could pretty much get anywhere we wanted to go using the metro, but we preferred to visit the Bible Museum (also a couple of blocks away) and walk the Washington Mall/visit the monuments which kept us busy for the 2 days we were there. Beds were comfy, pillow selection was great, and the in room Keurig coffee maker was a blessing. There was also a Starbucks, CVS, and McDonalds just a few doors away as well as some other take out eateries. I would definitely stay here again.

As far as location you can't beat the hotel, nice lobby and spacious room mine had the king bed with sofa so very nice a spacious. For as far as the TV it could be larger as most newer Holiday inns have. Everything is closed during this idiotic Covid nightmare so this city is dead and limited services now. The hotel pool is closed , can anyone tell me why the pool is closed and how Covid ia traadmitted in water? Covid is not a bacteria so wake up folks it a virus it dies when out of the body. Nothing to eat in this place other than take out. Good service with hotel.staff at least and bell captain. Be prepared to pay $53 dollars plus tax for parking which is a rip off but don't blame the hotel blame the State, the whole place is a rip off, you are charged for everything here. The worse are the rail tracks behind the hotel and the blaring train horn . The AC units are dated and loud so best off . Other than that I had a good night.

Excellent staff on reception, very helpful. This is in the city and lots of high rise buildings, still a good view from the room. Good size room for family of four. Comfortable beds. We had a day in Washington in the rain so needed to use the tumble dryer on our return which was very handy and easy to use. Very nice restaurant just around the corner from hotel too.
