This is an older hotel but great location - close to everything we wanted to see. Don't bother renting a car in this city just use Uber/Lyft or public transportation. We stayed here in July and it was a bit on the hot side. The rooms heat/cooling is tied to a central unit so you

We had a small, clean room at a fantastic rate and close to everything we were doing. Definitely recommend. Reviews talked about broken elevator but we had no issues and even if it would have been broke, we don't mind using the stairs.

I wish there was something between poor and average. The staff was nice, the lamps in the rooms had usb chargers, it was fairly clean. No central heat so your room temperature may vary and you cannot adjust it. The windows and walls are so thin you can hear all the traffic,

One of the cheapest hotels to stay in Washington DC . The rooms are really clean and the management is very professional . The location makes everything better . It’s a walking distance to most of the monuments in DC.

I stayed one night at this hotel, for a short business trip to the DC. The location is great. But the facilities are not... Not to mention the common area, the hair drier didn’t work, the TV wouldn’t turn on, half of the electric plugs didn’t work, etc, etc. The room I stayed

Small rooms but how big of room do you need?
A slightly bigger bathroom would have been nice. Counter space was limited.

Is there on site parking?
Parking garage is half block away, but affiliated with hotel. There is a daily rate but I think they might not be in and out privileges. We just left the car parked there and took it out the last day. Hotel is centrally located so we either walked, took an Uber, or used the circulator bus which was very cheap.

If you can avoid taking a car into D.C., please do so.Public transportation is cheaper and as convenient as your own car. Uber, taxi, Metro, bus abundant in D.C. Also rental bikes from station to station in Smithsonian and White House areas. I hope this helps. gc

The lifts are small but would accommodate a wheelchair. The hotel has air conditioning but you can’t control the temperature yourself. You have to phone reception and they send a maintenance person to change the temperature. When we visited it was very hot outside but the air conditioning was very cold - too cold. The maintenance man came to our room and hit it with a stick to close the vents a bit. That worked.
