I was on a business trip and picked this hotel to stay. That was bad idea. Too noisy at night. Never had a good night of sleep. The room heater did not work properly even after the engineer checked it out. It got so hot, I had to keep the windows open. I will have to reconsider staying in this...

If you are a young family with wild loud teenagers on vacation, this is the place for you. Paper thin walls make it difficult to get a good nights rest. For travelers coming in to do some lobbying on the hill, I would avoid this property. If you are a high school teacher with 100 kids you can't or won't...

Great value. Great location. Good service. Tons of kids running up and down the halls(spring break), buffet food at the restaurant, and the rooms reminded me a little of European hotels-old and small. I wouldn't recommend this place if I was traveling on business but it it perfect for a family with kids on vacation. We stayed 6 nights and...

We had the deluxe family Suite which consists of two nice-sized rooms (one is quite large actually) connected with an accordion door. Each room has its own bathroom. The rooms are old but very well maintained and clean. The TV's in both rooms were quite large screened The refrigerator is certainly not full-size, but it is larger than some of...

Needed a place to stay near the start line for the Rock 'N Roll DC Half Marathon. The hotel is older, but fully functional. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the heating system was a little noisy. The area around the hotel seemed safe. Plenty of places to eat and just a couple blocks from the subway.

We booked two nights at the Harrington and left after one. The room was small, dark and outdated. We were told at check-in that because we have a dog, we were going to be put in a smoking room even though we booked non-smoking. My husband said that wouldn't be acceptable, so we were put in a small room with...

The people who help to run this hotel are absolutely amazing. From the lady who checked us in (Charnee), to the bellman who helped us with our luggage and was always available with directions, and who even made a special trip up to our room with a list of local restaurants with no prompting ( Felipe), to our housekeeper Louise...

The Harrington is an older hotel, which is part of its charm. It is not a fancy, modern hotel with all the bells and whistles. However, the wi-fi worked great. Our room included a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker, which was a big plus. We were able to buy food for breakfast and lunch at the nearby CVS, store...

We've been to D.C. many many many times -except for once we've stayed right at Hotel Harrington. Everything is right THERE for you. Step out of the hotels doors and take a right, with 15 seconds you are at the corner and ON Constitution Ave. If you take a left within 2-3 minutes you are at the Metro and can...
