We had a great stay at the ARC hotel. My daughter and I were in town for college tours. Located in the historic district of Foggy Bottom, we could not have asked for a better location,. Just steps from GW medical center, George Washington University and the Foghy Botyom Metro stop. The room was clean and comfortable. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. We got a great suggesting upon our late arrival on Saturday evening for dinner and again on Monday morning for breakfast. Great lobby area to do work or eat take out. A plus is that it is in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Spacious room, very warm and clean. There is coffee maker in the room. Chromcast on TV was not working— it is a minus, but there were a lot of other channels. I really liked that there were soap, shampoo and hair conditioner dispensers. The staff is very friendly and we were treated like VIP guests from the very beginning— we were given freshly baked delicious chocolate chip cookies. There is a small store in the lobby where you can buy all kinds of snacks and coffees. There is microwave and paper plates and cups there as well— it was very helpful to heat up leftovers from the dinner. The metro station and Starbucks is minutes from the hotel. I would stay here again.

We stayed two nights over Presidents Day weekend. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is nearby the George Washington University campus. There is allot of dining options in the area and not far from all the DC has to offer.

Very good experience. The hotel is located 3 minutes walk form Foggy Bottom Metro Station from where you get to both airports and to every point of interest on DC. To observant Jews like me, its two minutes from George Washington University Chabad House. Food, including kosher and vegetarian, and be obtained from Trader's Joe and Whole Foods Market, just notice that DC became quiet expansive. I booked the biggest room they have and was really huge, which is nice when you spend nine mights as I did. It was clean, with big TV screen (also Netflix etc.), coffee making machine and a fridge. The downsides where not enough light, storage space not comfortable and no desk so I had to work at my bed side. The staff was great. I asked in advance if there was a kettle in the room. There wasn't but they sent me one for the duration of the stay without me need to ask. They also lend me an adaptor as mine didn't fit, again for the whole stay and free. Given all that ant that being my seventh visit to DC, this is going to be my hotel of choice. Just please add some lighting and maybe a desk, and you'll be close to perfection.

Great hotel in a great location, very helpful staff. Only reason it did not get 5 stars is the fan in the bathroom could not be shut off (loud), the AC did not work so we had to sleep with the windows open and the walls are pretty thin, heard some intersting noises coming from the room next door.

We spent two nights and everything was perfect. Very friendly staff, very good cleaning and comfortable bed. Rooms are spacious and well soundproofed. The only drawback is that from time to time you can hear planes passing by due to the proximity of the airport...but I must add that we slept perfectly. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood, relatively close to the Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall, and there is a subway station a 5-minute walk away.

I had the unfortunate phone call that my son was in a serious accident while working as a linesman in Virginia. Being from Alexandria Bay, a tiny town in Northern NY on the Canadian border, I’m not a city guy. So when we booked a room at the ARC Hotel and knowing nothing about city life, it was a Godsend to have run into your staff. I was given the immediate concern and compassion that my wife and needed. I think it was a 5-6 day stay and not knowing when my kid would get-out we were continually adding another and then another night. My wife had to return on Sunday and I’m not at all familiar with city living. I would very like to commend and acknowledge Michelle Mahmoud and for the life of me didn’t get or hear the Gentleman working the lobby. These two individuals need recognition for absolutely taking care of someone that had no idea what I was walking into. Most of my interactions were with these two blessed souls. Your “second sift”?, were excellent as well as hotel staff

Right in the center of the city, close to GWU, good value. The personnel were attentive and nice. Rooms were modern but the heating fan was noisy, I guess they did not renovate the heating/cooling infrastructure. I thought of asking to change my room due to the noise but was too tired to do that.
