2020 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best
Located in the heart of the hip and historic Georgetown neighborhood, Four Seasons Hotel Washington offers unparalleled access to the Nation’s Capital and an inspiring concentration of cultural institutions, historic landmarks and iconic memorials. DC has more parkland per capita than any other city in the country, while Georgetown has the eclectic charm of upscale shops, restaurants, galleries and is home to a rich variety of cultural attractions. Listen to evocative jazz in Blues Alley, shop in the design district known as Cady's Alley and explore the C&O Canal, Georgetown Waterfront Park and Washington Harbour. Other popular attractions include the Old Stone House on M Street, Georgetown University, Georgetown Cupcakes (site of the hit show "DC Cupcakes") and of course, the famous stairs from "The Exorcist." It's an ideal base from which to explore the city.

Unparalleled service for those willing to spend a little more to enjoy the best. The staff was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and attentive during our stay. The room was appointed very well. For us, we walked into Georgetown for takeout at our favorite Italian restaurant (Shout out to Filomena!), and enjoyed it comfortably in the room. Room service breakfast was delicious, delivered promptly and piping hot. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we'll be back.

Having been a member of the Four Seasons health club, I have regularly experienced exceptional service from the great staff at the spa. What made me take the time to write this review was, knowing the standard of excellence at the FS, Juan set himself apart as someone who has elevated and mastered the art of hospitality. He truly saw us, connected with us, anticipated and understood our needs and exceeded them. He created one of the best experience of warmth and caring hospitality that I have ever had. Thank you Juan!

Stayed here in January 2020 travelling for a long weekend from London. This could be one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Certainly in the top 3 worldwide. Great check in experience which was very swift. Room was very spacious and comfy. Had a drink and nibbles in the bar and service was excellent. Breakfast was excellent and special mention on the Hash Brown........amazing! The hotel is located in a great spot only about a 25 min walk from the White House but is also on the doorstep of Georgetown. Stunning place !! We managed to lose our passports during our stay whilst out and Tony the concierge could not do enough to help by phoning all the places we had been to whilst the hotel driver took us to the bar where we thought they might have been lost the previous afternoon. They were indeed recovered at the bar which was a great relief. I loved eveything about this hotel and one day hope to return. Washington DC and Georgetown was simply fantastic

I guess as long as I am dumb enough to pay the price, I shouldn't complain. But it still amazes me at how the DC Four Seasons manages to command a premium price over all other hotels in town. Yes, it is the best - great location - and phenomenal service - but the rooms are not extraordinary. The building is far from lovely. And the restaurant is easily the biggest disappointment at the hotel. Overpriced and underwhelming in every way. However, the gym is the absolute best and the employees at this hotel are beyond A+. They are gracious, smart, proactive and patient. They make the hotel. I only hope the Four Seasons pays them bonuses during this crazy time - they are the reason we come. And they are what makes the Four Seasons franchise our favorite hotel in the world, time and again.

As the parents of the groom for a wedding reception on Aug 15, 2020, we were extremely impressed with the attention and care given to our family and guests. From the doormen, valets, front desk staff, cleaning staff, and wedding coordinator, all of our interactions from day 1 (we arrived 3 days before the wedding) were excellent (friendly, helpful, professional). Then on the day of the wedding, as we arrived back at the Four Seasons around 5pm after the wedding ceremony off site, we saw the smoke billowing out of the hotel and were not able to enter the hotel. The Four Seasons staff, during this chaos, continued to show true professionalism. Within just a couple hours of this fire, the head chef, wedding coordinator and entire banquet staff were able to secure, clean, and set up our wedding reception (along with a 2nd wedding reception) at a new hotel so that our family and friends could still celebrate our son's wedding. Their efforts were above and beyond. The reception was amazing. We especially thank the wedding coordinator Sarah Pumar and head chef , and also

Dear UpstateDocJR, Thank you for taking the time to share this wonderful note with us! It was definitely not the experience that we were hoping for your son's special weekend. The team sincerely appreciate your kind words, patience and understanding through out the entire situation. We hope to have the opportunity to welcoming your family back to the Washington or any of our Four Seasons locations. Stay safe and be well! Kind regards, David Bernand
