Detailed Reviews
The Four Seasons' Georgetown location is snuggled into a quiet corner next to the C & O Canal. We loved the Hotel-Spa guest entrance directly on the Canal walking path. Spa services were truly luxurious, with extra wonderful and friendly staff. Every aspect of our stay was taken care of attentively, warmly and expertly. This levely of luxury comes at a price - we found it to be worth the price for our special occasion.

My wife and I recently spent 6 nights at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown Washington DC. The hotels style is classically elegant and the personalised service provided by the staff matches this aesthetic perfectly.
The location of the hotel is ideal, my wife and I walked to all of the sites and monuments in DC with ease yet still felt like we escaped away from the busy city each evening as we enjoyed walking down the beautiful streets of Georgetown and trying the local restaurants.
The sauna in the hotel is a wonderful way to unwind in the middle of winter and the staff in the gym/spa make this experience even more perfect.

I gave the family the choice of where they wanted to celebrate a milestone birthday for my mom and was over the moon when they said they wanted to come back to the Four Seasons DC. Having stayed only one night at the hotel in recent years, we immediately felt this was a special place with an extraordinary team who treats each other and their guests with warm and gracious care.
The location in the city is perfect for seeing all the historical treasures you will want to see. Special mention also to Michael, the incredible lead concierge, who used his golden keys to obtain special access to a not to be missed view of the White House. The last trip he helped us choose what turned out to be the city’s premier private guide. We enjoyed kayaking on the Potomac, the open to the public playground of the National Cathedral, visiting the original US Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the three Smithsonian museums. The Four Seasons assisted us in making each visit special.
Once inside the hotel, with both inner courtyard terrace and outside terrace, you are welcomed by warm light, fireplaces, and a veritable spring garden of fresh flowers. It is a delight to return every day after a long day of sightseeing.
At breakfast the first day our amazing waiter Dina jumped into action knowing we like to order, enjoy our meal, and then explore the city. He offered to customize anything we wanted and made the very best specialty coffee. The next day he remembered what we liked and proactively brought my older mother a delicious complimentary fruit and vegetable drink for a refreshing start. Dina clearly has care for others in his heart and joy in what he does.
Do not miss the spa. These are massage therapists serious about working out the knots and helping you leave the spa completely relaxed. My mom said it was the best facial she has ever had and she looked it. They book up very quickly and it is loved by both locals and return guests so booking in advance is my advice.
If you have visited DC but not stayed at the Four Seasons, staying here during your visit will be like visiting a new city. Thank you to the Four Seasons Washington DC team for making memories of a lifetime for my family. You truly have created a special place for us to look forward to returning to soon.

There are certain standards you expect at a 4 Seasons; like gym equipment that are not relics that work (not like here ) where video on the machines freezes up every 15-30 seconds. This place is in bad need of a renovation. The grout on the bathroom tiles has been sloppily redone on the wrong color. There are cracks in drywall ceiling seams. The service is good here and they try hard but the lack of investment really shows and it is frustrating if you know better and expect better for $400-$500 a night ( and that was the conference rate!)

As the parents of the groom for a wedding reception on Aug 15, 2020, we were extremely impressed with the attention and care given to our family and guests.
From the doormen, valets, front desk staff, cleaning staff, and wedding coordinator, all of our interactions from day 1 (we arrived 3 days before the wedding) were excellent (friendly, helpful, professional). Then on the day of the wedding, as we arrived back at the Four Seasons around 5pm after the wedding ceremony off site, we saw the smoke billowing out of the hotel and were not able to enter the hotel. The Four Seasons staff, during this chaos, continued to show true professionalism. Within just a couple hours of this fire, the head chef, wedding coordinator and entire banquet staff were able to secure, clean, and set up our wedding reception (along with a 2nd wedding reception) at a new hotel so that our family and friends could still celebrate our son's wedding. Their efforts were above and beyond. The reception was amazing. We especially thank the wedding coordinator Sarah Pumar and head chef , and also

I think I will forever love this hotel! Have been here every so often since 1990 and it’s still great. Location is always good and rooms/beds are excellent, but the staff were most impressive and the management is definitely minding the guests’ safety during COVID. Hand sanitizer is keys spots throughout the hotel, proper safety measures are in place, the place is spotless and it still remains a luxurious stay.
Room service breakfast was such a nice treat and the food was not only better than expected but also served in a timely fashion.
Can’t wait to return when I can enjoy the pool, spa, restaurant and bar too!

The experience at the Four Seasons in Washington has been one of the best in my life. The staff is extremely professional, prepared and courteous. Rooms and all public spaces are very luxurious, but yet everyone makes you feel at home and the atmosphere is very warm. The spa is of the highest quality, with a very professional staff that really care for your needs and is willing to customize treatments to your needs. I had a special treatment for my birthday, with a handwritten note from the GM to accompany a lovely Red Velvet cake. They went out of their way to make my stay perfect.

We decided to splurge for New Years Eve and booked a room, dinner and breakfast at the Four Seasons. We were so fortunate to have gotten connected with Concierge Karen Rosington. She helped us arrange everything and although she was out of the country (our favorite Australia) during our stay, everything worked exactly as planned. We were touched by the kindness of everyone with whom we came in contact at the hotel. Our accommodations were upgraded to a great room on the sixth floor. We understand the hotel will be undergoing extensive renovations and we have a couple of recommendations concerning the room. First, there is inadequate drawer storage (even for an overnight stay!). The pull-out trays on the night tables are a waste; change them to drawers. Include a traditional alarm clock. It was difficult to close the draperies, since they were positioned closely behind the sofa, making it necessary to climb on the sofa to reach the draperies' control rods. Please place an electric outlet close to the TV (for a FireTVstick, etc.); I had to order an extension cord. Please have a drawer for each sink in the bathroom.
Bourbon Steak: My wife had an endive salad and I had the lobster consume for our first course, we pre-selected the lobster pot pie as our second course and we both had the (yum) chocolate terrine for dessert. Everything was delicious.
Seasons: We both had a wonderful wake-up breakfast. I only wish they had the fabulous cinnamon buns they had for several of Seasons' Thanksgiving Brunches a few years ago. I've been asking for them every year at Thanksgiving and included a request with this reservation.
Asked hotel to recognize: Concierge Karen Rosington; Elizabeth & Margo at the front desk; the Ethiopian housekeeper who did our turndown service; the "big" doorman; and the Maroccon breakfast waiter (who speaks many languages).

I completely and thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit with Four Season. Although, the recent pandemic has affected my life and business travel, the entire staff: housekeeping, managerial staff, doormen, bell hops, room service was completely incredible. My room was impeccable. The entire staff was professional, respectful and polite. The property exceeded any protocols for cleanliness and sterilization. The name escapes me; however, my travel coordinator made a faux pas and my driver service was a no show. I had to be on an early morning flight and had little wiggle room. The manager was a complete gentleman and was like a Superman who rescued the day. I was able to reach the airport in time with a few moments to spare. He went over and above to ensure my safety and proper arrival. Best Four Seasons Ever. Oh, and the spicy shrimp and grits were marvelous! And, the area Georgetown was quite charming. Love!

Stayed here in January 2020 travelling for a long weekend from London. This could be one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Certainly in the top 3 worldwide. Great check in experience which was very swift. Room was very spacious and comfy. Had a drink and nibbles in the bar and service was excellent. Breakfast was excellent and special mention on the Hash Brown........amazing! The hotel is located in a great spot only about a 25 min walk from the White House but is also on the doorstep of Georgetown. Stunning place !! We managed to lose our passports during our stay whilst out and Tony the concierge could not do enough to help by phoning all the places we had been to whilst the hotel driver took us to the bar where we thought they might have been lost the previous afternoon. They were indeed recovered at the bar which was a great relief. I loved eveything about this hotel and one day hope to return. Washington DC and Georgetown was simply fantastic

Hello! The A/C worked very well but I did not test it to see if it could get that low.
I would call and ask to speak to a the Director of Housekeeping. They will be honest and responsive.
