Comfortable clean and great hospitality. Conveniently located. Breakfast so yummy. Free drinks and nachos at happy hour. Cheeseburger and wings are very good. Great place to hangout. Highly recommended. Overnight parking is available. Most beautiful and nicest server at the restaurant Mahler. She has an addicting smile.
this is a very nice hotel and in a great area. within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. 20 minute walk to Georgetown. Rooms were very clean and service was very good. the only negative i have is that the bar in the hotel does not open until 4:30. the issue with that is even though it is not open, you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol in and drink in the bar area (tables chairs, couches, tv's). they should have drinks available in the small shop they have. after a long hot day in DC sometimes you want to sit and have a beer at the hotel.
Excellent premises; great staff. But I object strongly to the policy that does not allow the $25 "fee" to be used for a tip when visiting the restaurant or bar. And I object even more strongly to the failure to disclose that to guests upon arrival. As I said - great staff. They should be treated with more consideration. Because I didn't know I did not carry cash and found myself unable to tip at the bar.
We are staying in The District within the Embassy Suites. The facilities are clean and modern. The personnel are attentive. Especially Mahlet, a server off of the bar & eating area was incredible. She took care of all the tables efficiently while keeping a happy attitude.
Our waitress Mahlet was very polite and kind to us! The dinner tasted amazing and the servings were generous. The hotel is very clean and the service was quick. Thank you for a lovely stay at the hotel.
Great experience With our server Mahlet covering all the basis.Very nice meal, including a ribeye steak done to perfection and a terrific dessert— Bread pudding with just the right amount of ice cream.See before and after below
We had a 4 night stay and have a mixed review. My wife and I are world travelers and stayed at many Hilton facilities including Embassy Suites that were adequate. This one was a real disappointment. Staff - almost all staff were friendly, courteous and quite helpful. Room - very good corner room, roomy and quiet. Amenities - quite poor. . Clock radio not working. . Kitchen table was a narrow table that was top-heavy, , Chairs weighed almost too much to move. . No silverware, dishes or dishtowel. . No in room paper guide to the services, e.g., laundry? gym location? . No TV list of services . No newspapers anywhere. Management . What can I say. A few front desk people were seasoned and quite fine. . Several were clearly rookies. . I had the thought that this hotel is used as a training facility for new employees. Summary: . Can not recommend this facility. Had a nice meal at Grillfish, around the corner.…
Loved our bread pudding ~ it was beautifully crafted and presented by our server Mahlet! She was delightful even though it was the very end of evening and almost closing time! The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the city. Very clean and spacious rooms.
Waiter very helpful and friendly service .dinner was good good waiter Mahlet treat us well Mad sure we were taken care of while we were eating. Gave me good suggestions on drinks .made sure we had enough to drink
