After reading other TripAdvisor reviews, it was with some trepidation that I reserved rooms for a recent business trip. We were visiting UDC, and they requested that we stay at this property, near the University. I arrived in the morning, not expecting to check in early, and sure enough, I could not. A staff member took my info, checked my... More

For the price the hotel is very correct. The room was comfortable and quite. The staff was kind and friendly. The parking is not included ... That was a surprise for us, a not good one because it costs 23$ per day! It's a bit expensive.

When the outdoor temperature dropped, the room became cold. That is when we realized that the only room heater was a plug in heater that was not plugged in. After we plugged it in, the room became toasty, but then we discovered the only way to turn off the heater was to unplug it from the wall.

This hotel was perfect for me. it was right near the Red-Line Metro in Northwest Washington. The staff was very friendly, the room clean, and they had a tea maker which was important to me. Also for a per diem fee, I could leave my car in their garage while I was staying there. I would def stay here again.

This was an average stay. TV didn't work and it appeared as if dry blood on ceiling. Pretty typical for a low end hotel.

the front desk agent lied to me about the price, then tried try to lie and say I didn't speak with her over the phone. But she was the only one with an accent working there. The charge way too much, for nothing. No pool, fitness center, no breakfast, not even a water fountain. They charge for everything, surprised the... More

If your looking for a spot in the north part of the city that's two blocks away from the metro, this might be your hotel. The rooms are fine, just a few cosmetic things that need to be taken care of. Parking is expensive. It cost more to park at the hotel than it does to park downtown--not sure why?

Had not stayed in a Days Inn for a while but chanced on this when looking for an affordable place after the conference hotel was all booked up. Turns out the room (on the sixth floor) that I had was simple but clean and functional. That included the complimentary free (but unsecured) wifi. The bed was comfy. An added bonus was... More
