Great location, great staff. Restaurant was ok, not great. Clean, safe and comfortable rooms. Again, great staff. Only issue was that there was and annoying photographer taking pictures of the lobby. Maybe PR for the hotel, but she was annoying. Overall great hotel.

You can't go wrong with a stay at the Phoenix Park Hotel when in D.C. for business or leisure. Take the train and walk over from Union Station (be sure to visit the U.S. Postal Museum, right on the corner, when you have the chance), and avoid driving! Our room was excellent, very clean and comfortable, with a King-size bed.... More

This is my 3rd visit to the Phoenix Park and my 1st visit since all renovations have been complete. Let me preface this review by saying you don't go to DC to stay in your hotel room. But, when you are in DC during a summer heatwave..it's nice to be comfortable when you do return to your room. That being... More

This hotel is in very good condition, looks to have been recently renovated (fully renovated) and kept very clean. The hotel is historical but the rooms look new including the bathroom fixtures. the beds were very comfy including the overstuffed pillows. If you have done your research you will know that the hotel is located close to the union station... More

Well, your heading certainly got my attention. Not sure what that indicates - but will say yes, we are an historic hotel newly renovated and in the heart of downtown and by the US Capitol. Washington DC is an active urban city and recognized as having the worst traffic congestion in America. While we have double sound insulated windows, nothing... More

I very much enjoyed my stay here - The renovation that they just recently completed looks fantastic. The rooms are a bit on the small size - But are very well laid out. The staff is unbelievable helpful and courteous. The location is just a few blocks from the U.S. Capitol Building and right across the street from Union Station.... More

Beautiful hotel very close to the National Mall. The attached bar and grill had a fantastic atmosphere with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They offer valet parking but there is a garage just around the block for about $20 less or you can park on the street. This was perfect for our 1 night stay!

The hotel was well located for our work, but even if not for work the location is great to have access to all of DC and its surroundings. Walking distance to the Capitol. Very clean, friendly staff and also great Irish Pub option to eat or drink located within the hotel.

This hotel was really nice! Very well designed, very clean, and in a great location just across from Union Station. The room was very small, but didn't feel cramped because it was designed properly. The provided bath products smelled and felt great, and the shower was amazing! The staff were all very friendly. The only cons to this hotel are... More

We needed a one night stay and choose this hotel based on price first and location second. It turned out to be a great experience in all areas. The rooms were smaller but beautifully renovated recently. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. We only had a few hours to sightsee and Brenda had... Had it not been important for me to be near Union Station for this leg of my trip, I probably would not have discovered the Phoenix Park Hotel. Now that I have, it's on my list. The location is actually a perfect launching point for the rest of the District. The hotel is old-world charming, with a friendly pub downstairs,... More
