Having arrived on Amtrak the Phoenix Park could not have been more convenient: literally across the street from Union Station. I'd stopped in the Phoenix Park a few years ago, to check out the lobby. It's now night and day from the hotel I saw then: very stylish and sleek. The room was spacious, and attractively laid out. I'm accustomed... More

Had to do a quick trip to DC. This hotel is a short walk to the Capitol and Senate buildings and they are experts at hailing taxis for you. Plus it is surrounded by great restaurants and breakfast spots. Their own restaurant the Dubliner has really good food and outside dining in September was spot on. Their staff always had... More

Stayed 6 nights including celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Top marks to Amy Jung for organising flowers for the room and including FOC a bottle of fizz as well. Stayed on the 7th floor, room was quiet (provided you keep the windows closed of course) and the air-con worked efficiently and quietly. It was 30c+ everyday during our stay and... More

Park your car, museums and restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable bed and soft sheets. Room was very clean and spacious for two. Great view of the Capitol building. Good food in the restaurant below however, when ordering drinks, don't order the Moscow mule not good at all. Overall love the Phoenix!!

Great location on Capital Hill. Was there for work, and this was an ideal location. Have stayed here several times and really like the new décor. Rooms are all lovely and fresh, great linens and comfy beds. Love the proximity to the Dubliner, so at the end of a long day you can relax with a bite to eat and... More

I stayed three nights with my 7 year old granddaughter at Phoenix Park. The service we received was outstanding. Every employee went out of their way to make my granddaughter enjoy her trip. The location of the hotel is perfect for catching the metro or visiting Capitol Hill. The rooms were very clean and well serviced each day. The only... More

Great room, staff and location. So easy to pull up to the front door. It was very nice to have valet take care of the car. However, I thought $54 for that a night was a bit steep. The morning tea and coffee bar is a big plus. I had a great stay.

Thank you for sharing your comments and staying with us. Parking rates and parking taxes are very high in downtown Washington and as we have no parking garage on site must also pay retail rate plus costs for our valet parking staff to park and pull cars. Our guests can always look at self parking option at one of the... More

Great location! Could walk to Union Station. Staff was courteous and helpful. Our room was lovely. Our bed was one of the best I've ever slept in. The bathroom was gorgeous! Shower pressure was great. We would definitely stay there again.
