It is always such a pleasure to stay at this hotel – by far, my favorite in the D.C. The staff is always so courteous, well informed, and helpful. They make the experience seamless. And location. Its walking distance to everything!

Hotel's Favorite
I recently stayed at this amazing property and was very impressed with the level of services and attention I received from checking to my departure Fifi at the front desk was very welcoming and warm From the beginning of my arrival she address me by my last name and kept eye contact. Few minutes later she called me in the room and checked if there’s anything else I needed to make my stay better The location of the hotel is just across the street of union station and few steps away from the Capitol I haven’t stop telling all my colleagues at their next time visit to stay there I’m glad I found a jewel

We spent a weekend in DC with friends as a getaway from the VA suburbs. The Phoenix Park Hotel provided the perfect setting and made us feel safe and welcome. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful and even offered some great suggestions on nearby activities. The room was very clean and spacious. We couldn’t have asked for more. Don’t hesitate to stay here! Great job Phoenix Park!

THREE STARS FOR STAFF AND LOCATION (visible from Union Station/3 min walk). Darren, Derick, Miss Janice & Miss Brenda are amazing, along with the cleaning staff. They ALL understand the assignment and is doing their absolute best with the little they are given. When it comes to location, the hotel is a 5 minute walk to The Capital Building and from there we walked to the National Mall. There is a 24hr coffee/tea station in the 2nd floor SANITIZER WIPES DISPENSER ON ALL FLOORS. COVID -19 PROTOCOL IS GREAT. PLZ NOTE: this hotel is NOT in the ghetto but there are a ton of homeless ppl EVERYWHERE ALL OVER DC. NOW, THE ISSUES. This hotel needs serious work and the staff is not to be blamed. They are doing the best with what they are given. 1- The elevators can only fit 3 people in them. 2- furnitures in the room are old, chipping and torn 3- towels, wash rags and sheets are REUSED TO DEATH AND FRAYING: some even have holes in them. Target sell wash rags for $2 this hotel needs to get new ones. 4- carpet in hall smells 4- Building just needs a makeover FOR EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THIS PLACE I BLAME THE OWNERS OR INVESTORS OR W/E. THEY MAKE MONEY; THIS LOCATION IS EVERYTHING, so why can’t you people provide a cleaner environment Would I go there again, maybe; if it’s renovated.

Thank you for your visit and sharing your comments. I am sorry you were not fully pleased with your stay but glad to note that our team looked after you so well. I will be happy to address some of the comments you noted - While we recognize that our rooms and elevators are small and comment on that here and on other sites, there is nothing we can do to create larger elevators. We continue to maintain all our rooms and furnishings on a regular basis. As has been commented on frequently in the media, the supply of products, including in our case linen, has been disrupted with the COVID crisis. Our hotel, along with many in the country, have many back orders of products, guest amenitites, linen and other items. Even the shelves of Target are empty at this time. We are pleaed that you noted our outstanding hospitality from our team and glad to know that they provided such a positive experience. They all join me in thanking you for your visit.
