I highly recommend the Phoenix Park Hotel both for it's excellent location and ambience but also because the top notch staff. I came to Washington for work and stayed my first week in a comfortable room at the Phoenix. When it became apparent I would stay for quite some time longer we shifted rooms for one that might be more comfortable for a longer stay. Hotel staff were amazingly helpful and pleasant to interact with. The rooms were modern elegant and clean. The hotel was in walking distance of my office, the capital, the train station. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Beautiful hotel right in the center of everything. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. I especially loved the comfortable bed after a long day of sightseeing. We were on a Amtrak vacation and the location neat Union Station worked out great. Had dinner at the Dubliner Pub which is part of the hotel. It was great. Highly recommend.

The hotel is really close to the Union station, if you are arriving by train it is perfect. There is a Irish restaurant/pub where you can eat or drink a good beer. The room was perfectly clean. The bed was really comfortable also. You also have a mini fridge in the room. It is also walking distance from the main attractions - If you are in a room close to the elevator you will hear it a lot. - The surroundings look a bit shady at night, a lot of homeless during the day and night

Thank you for your visit and we appreciate you staying with us and sharing your comments. We are glad you found our location ideal - next to Union Station and two blocks from the US Capitol Building. As an urban hotel located in the heart of downtown, our city faces the same challenges as other major cities - and the problem of homeless is one that Washington shares with all cities. Phoenix Park does its part to be a good community supporter and helps in the work to fight this problem in our town. Thank you again for your business. David Hill General Manager

My association recently has a meeting at PPH. It was a pleasure working with the PPH team lead by Valerie and Janice. John was our main point of contact and always available. The location of the hotel was perfect for our group making Hill visits. The food was great, nice to have a pub attached to the hotel. Catered food was delicious and plentiful. Gilda and Roberto did a great job serving the food. Archie was a great bartender for our reception, anticipated our guest's needs/wants. All in all, this was a great event for our group. We hope to return in the future! Thank you PPH team!
