My family and I stayed at the Phoenix Park Hotel and had a wonderful experience! The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and spacious. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming - greeting us each time we walked past and promptly providing anything we needed. The location is great! It is only a very short walk to the Capitol and right across the street from a metro stop. The valet parking is convenient and well worth it! The hotel is also attached to a great bar and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with live music every night. There is even a free coffee machine serving lattes and hot chocolate 24 hours a day. I highly recommend the Phoenix Park Hotel!
We are finishing up our last night here as I type this. It has been such a lovely experience! The staff are warm and welcoming. The room, while a bit small (we booked a single bed room and the size reminded me of some hotels we’ve stayed at in Europe), was clean and had a boutique feel to it. The bathroom was roomy and the shower was really nice! It’s so close to the Capitol which is also nice. We walked a lot of places! Will definitely stay again!
Had a wonderful time at Phoenix Park. Check-in was friendly and helpful. Room like we booked. Great to get coffee, tea and water when ever you want for free. We walked from hotel to all landmarks, but you can use a bus also. If we come back to Washington, we will stay here
Darren made our experience extremely enjoyable. From my initial conversation with him to the time we left, he had an incredibly positive, professional and accommodating attitude and demeanor. We will return to the Phoenix Park Hotel because of Darren - Thank You.
We went for a getaway birthday weekend with friends. We had a fantastic time! The hospitality was wonderful. The hotel was close to many sites, and love the Dubliner was wonderful and the perfect place to catch up with old friends.
We had a room block at this hotel, which I have stayed at numerous times; but they went above and beyond this time! From the gentleman who helped with our car/luggage, through all of the front desk staff, the wait staff in the Dubliner and most especially Janice Washington who created our weekend plans were all outstanding! We had a room block and a gorgeous suite for our wedding couple and we couldn't have asked for more! They even included champagne and rose petals in the master suite! We had 15 rooms and everyone had an amazing nights' sleep, great meals, great cocktails and ease of transportation to/from our venue location due to the accessibility of TPPH. The constant attention from staff made us feel like we were the only group at the hotel, and there were, I believe, two other wedding groups that weekend! Again, I began my reservation with Lesley, who was very helpful, but Janice attended to our needs from planning through event and she always was prompt in answering my emails and questions; set us up with exactly what we needed and was friendly and so helpful! We WILL be back! And I also had out-of-state family who joined us that weekend say the same! Thank you Phoenix Park Hotel for helping make an amazing weekend!…
We went on an Amtrak package and were pleased to find a short walkable distance from Union Station to hotel (2 blocks). . Friendly staff, clean well appointed rooms. Dub liner Restaurant was tasty…having coupons for 2 beers was nice. Will definitely recommend it.
Location perfect by the Union station and the Capitol . Room lovely . Staff friendly and service excellent. Lovely traditional decor Bar and restaurant traditional - maybe could offer more choice . Breakfast cafes close by. If you want a drink and reasonably priced meal out of the hotel the nearest is probably the Hamilton - about 5 mins walk away. Would definitely return to Washington - and this hotel . Loved it all
We had an amazing experience at the Phoenix Park Hotel in DC. When checking in we were greeted by Brenda and Robin, they are fantastic! Hotel is in a great location, one block from Union Station. Thanks for an amazing experience.
We had a reception in a beautiful suite looking out into the city. The food and service were outstanding. We were missing the water and soft drinks and our server had the laid out in the room in minutes. Our dinner/dance was in the lovely grand ballroom. It was both large and intimate. Everyone commented that the staff from the porter at the door to registration and banquet service was gracious and always helpful. We felt we had been adopted by the Michael from the catering staff who directed both the reception and the dinner. Lesley who headed catering made everything easy from the start. Best time every -- was said by all who attended.
