This is our second visit to this hotel and we love it! Our first stay had a couple of issues, but the response from the management was so strong and totally unexpected, that we would come again and again! A good manager makes such a difference! Great location with many restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores in easy walking distance. This was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so many of the amenities were not available, but they have very nice facilities, such as a pool and yoga on the terrace, typically. This is a nice, older hotel, very clean and comfortable. Bedding is nice and each room has a balcony. You feel like you're in a residential building instead of a hotel. It's nice and you can even bring your pets with no additional fee, which we appreciate. You are literally right on Washington Circle, a super short walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro Stop and GW Hospital and University. Nice walk from here to the national mall, the river front and Georgetown.

In January 2020 we planned to visit this hotel and it needed to special because its the dirst time for my husband to visit the USA. Unfortunately the US Aclosed the borders because of the Corona, so we approached this hotel till since then now 4 times to hear about the status from their side. Is it cancelled, can we visit another time or are they going ro refund? Totally no respond, giving me the feeling that they just wanna take the money and thats it. So when it comes to it the service of this hotel is bad so i would advice not to book this hotel ever. We will never book this hote if we would visit Washington after this experience, its allabout thrust and they are not trustworthy to my money and yours.

When I went to book a place to stay when visiting my daughter I saw this hotel was rated very high, yet the price for me was only $10 more a night. So I figured "why not?" WHAT A NICE HOTEL. Staff was wonderful, location was close enough to walk to the big DC sites. Close to subway and The room was huge, I had a kitchen (full) and a walk through closet with a full bathroom. There was also other places to put clothing. I had a private balcony, a large desk, a little table and chairs. There is a Trader Joe's only a couple blocks away so it is easy to get food and cook for yourself in the full kitchen. Location is off Washington Circle near George Washington University. Upscale neighborhood.

Great location, very close to Foggy Bottom subway station, and not too far a walk to the National Mall (if not on a time budget, about 30-40 minutes). I got a suite, and was very satisfied with it. Although it might look slightly dated, it is very spacious, very clean, comfortable and well-kept. Very quiet room. The only noises that managed to go through were ambulances (the surrounding streets are normally busy throughout the day). Staff was courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay there again, for business or with my family.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past but it has been a few years since my last visit. I was very disappointed to see how poorly maintained it has been. The rooms and corodors are dingy. The bathroom fixtures and bathroom tiles are in need of being redone. The cable connection for the TV was coming out of the wall and the TV usually didn't work because there was no signal. The WiFi was very slow and unreliable.

Hotel is older, kinda dated, but conveniently located and the staff is amazing! Had a balcony room on the 5th floor. Very loud. Could hear people walking and talking on the sidewalks outside, cars honking, helicopters and sirens alllllll night. Also, the curtains didn't close, just the sheers, so it wasn't very dark in the room. Could also hear other guests in the room next to us. Overall, decent for the price, but would've liked a quieter room.

It’s a suite hotel ( has kitchenette facilities) walking distance from Foggy Bottom metro station . Very clean, comfortable, nice spacious rooms. The first time we stayed there I’d booked a room not a suite , second time round a week later, we got a suite room on higher floor. Downside to first room was that they have sliding French windows to balcony and they made a lot of noise whenever someone decided to step out onto their balcony for whatever reason. Bathroom was cramped, but room was spacious. That was just where the room was located- building design forced it. I would book the suite rooms next time.. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly - everyone was. They also had a happy hour , offering wine in the evening! Nice touch. Would definitely stay there again, found the rates reasonable .

We just finished our stay in DC and spent a couple of nights here. This is a wonderful place to stay if you need a kitchen and close access to the metro. We traveled with 3 adults and a toddler and found the location to be perfect. Located right across washington circle, we got off foggy bottom straight from DCA and within 5 minutes walk arrived at the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and the room is large with a pretty decent sized kitchen and everything you need to cook (our daughter has food allergies so we needed to make her some food). With Whole Foods being right next to the Metro everything was extremely convenient. Our queen sized bed suite had a queen sized pull out sofa. There is also a desk and a coffee table for eating. They had all the amenities in the bathroom and even fresh coffee beans in the kitchen. There is a full walk in closet as well so plenty of room for our entire party. From here we were also able to walk to both the Lincoln memorial and MLK (about 1 mile) and also walked to nearby restaurants including founding farmers. I would highly recommend this hotel to families who need access to a kitchen, market, and Metro!
