This is our second visit to this hotel and we love it! Our first stay had a couple of issues, but the response from the management was so strong and totally unexpected, that we would come again and again! A good manager makes such a difference! Great location with many restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores in easy walking distance. This was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so many of the amenities were not available, but they have very nice facilities, such as a pool and yoga on the terrace, typically. This is a nice, older hotel, very clean and comfortable. Bedding is nice and each room has a balcony. You feel like you're in a residential building instead of a hotel. It's nice and you can even bring your pets with no additional fee, which we appreciate. You are literally right on Washington Circle, a super short walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro Stop and GW Hospital and University. Nice walk from here to the national mall, the river front and Georgetown.

Hotel's Favorite
I've lived in VA for years but have seldom played tourist in DC, so decided to take a long weekend. I was amazed at how low the weekend rates were for this place so read some of the reviews, checked out the location and did some comparisons. This is a tremendous value so I booked it. They're in a great location, within walking distance to most of the sites and popular neighborhoods. Despite being a hotel, it feels like an apartment with plenty of space to spread out. I booked a 1 bedroom suite with a view of Washington Circle and am glad I did. It's a wonderful view across the neighborhood and makes a comfortable patio to enjoy a drink in the evenings. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable - I wasn't bothered by the city noise as much as others have indicated. It's in the middle of a big city with a nearby hospital. You're going to hear things, but it quiets down at night. It does help that the bedroom is does not face Washington Circle. With a nearby Whole Foods, I thought I'd take more advantage of the kitchen, but I had so many restaurants I'd been wanting to try, I only used the kitchen for morning coffee and snacks. The wi-fi works well and is included in the rate. While I wish the parking was free, it's in line with most other hotels in DC. I believe it was $42/night and included quick valet service when I needed it. All my staff interactions were friendly and efficient. I can't think of any faults with my stay, only great memories, and will definitely return on my next trip to DC.

In January 2020 we planned to visit this hotel and it needed to special because its the dirst time for my husband to visit the USA. Unfortunately the US Aclosed the borders because of the Corona, so we approached this hotel till since then now 4 times to hear about the status from their side. Is it cancelled, can we visit another time or are they going ro refund? Totally no respond, giving me the feeling that they just wanna take the money and thats it. So when it comes to it the service of this hotel is bad so i would advice not to book this hotel ever. We will never book this hote if we would visit Washington after this experience, its allabout thrust and they are not trustworthy to my money and yours.

When I went to book a place to stay when visiting my daughter I saw this hotel was rated very high, yet the price for me was only $10 more a night. So I figured "why not?" WHAT A NICE HOTEL. Staff was wonderful, location was close enough to walk to the big DC sites. Close to subway and The room was huge, I had a kitchen (full) and a walk through closet with a full bathroom. There was also other places to put clothing. I had a private balcony, a large desk, a little table and chairs. There is a Trader Joe's only a couple blocks away so it is easy to get food and cook for yourself in the full kitchen. Location is off Washington Circle near George Washington University. Upscale neighborhood.

Great place to stay. Location was convenient to shopping, groceries and metro. Very clean and cool. Enjoyed the kitchen and being able to some cooking. Mostly jut breakfast. The bathroom was very small. Internet was horrible. Otherwise very pleasant.
