What sets The Graham apart from most hotels is the level of service - it’s exceptional. The staff is kind, thoughtful, and very guest-focused* so it’s my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Georgetown. The boutique hotel offers rooms that are spacious and nicely appointed, including large marble bathrooms and Molton Brown amenities. There’s a rooftop bar with a nice view and good bar food and cocktails. It’s centrally located to all the restaurants and shops in Georgetown and an easy cab ride to the Mall. Finishing up a 3 night stay at this fantastic hotel. The stay are so friendly and accommodating. We are traveling with our daughter and the king room plus sofa bed is perfect. Located on a side street between the lovely canal area and main road plus a direct shot to the waterfront blends the best of all worlds. Impeccably clean and we are pretty picky. Highly recommend.

We booked a 3 night stay in Georgetown. The Graham seemed a good option. We decided to book a King Suite Terrace Room. The rate was over 600 USD without breakfast included. Entering the lobby of the hotel and the check in were suggestive that our expectations had been too high. But we were not prepared for what was coming. The suite terrace was right in the back of the reception. It was a very dark room, tacky decoration and not very clean (stained carpets and curtains). The terrace was a joke. It was a small walled patio with a cramped sofa, a plastic plant covered wall, a damaged chair and a stained plastic table. Depressing to say the least. And I believe it was not the room we booked and paid for. However we were not planning to stay long in the hotel so we didn’t complain in the reception and decided to make the most of our Georgetown stay. The second day we realized the phone in our room was not working and reported to the reception. Later when we arrived at the hotel at 7 pm we realized the room had not been cleaned. We tried to call the reception but the phone was not working. After requesting we had the room barely cleaned and new towels. The next morning after waking up we realized we had no water bottles, no coffee pods, the phone was still not working and the robes had been removed. So I had to get dressed, once again head to the reception and request these basic items. Staff was aloof and seemed not to worry at all with what was a blatant failure on their part. Our experience was clearly negative. We could deal with the depressing room but not having basic services with such a room rate is simply outrageous. Not recommending the Graham and not planning to return on our next DC trip.

This show aims to bring back a bit of that sense of wonder for couples attending, and it delivers. Our show had impressive close-up magic, some hilarious audience performances, and an atmosphere for safely bringing down the usual walls a little bit for a little while. I still don't believe in one bit of magic, but I came away impressed and feeling better for having attended. Leaning a little towards a second showing.

Wow….my first time traveling without my husband in 30 years. He told me I could stay anywhere I wanted to this vacation. I picked the Graham in Georgetown because it looked like the perfect hotel for me. I went out of my way to do a ton of research to make sure that I would be comfortable with my stay. I took it one step further and took a suite with a large bathtub. Looking so forward to my time to visit my son and to stay so nice on a trip by myself. When I first arrived I was very impressed my room was beautiful check-in was perfect the bath was fabulous the room was clean the bed was comfortable I was very happy. The next morning feeling great I went downstairs to have breakfast from that moment on everything went downhill. The elevators opened up and there’s a waitress holding what looked like a decent breakfast standing in a puddle of water telling me she is not serving they are not serving any meals I said what’s in your hand she said we have a flood. Plenty of people were dining so I went upstairs and asked the manager why are people Dining and Waitres just told me I can’t eat in the dining room? He told me I should go upstairs and order room service then he told me wait right there. He came back up told me to go downstairs walked back through the flood and proceeded to get horrible service. Before I even ordered I decided with the attitude I was getting I would be better off eating anywhere I got up and I left. I spent the entire day outside of the hotel enjoying my time. Looking very forward to coming back to the hotel room and sadly I walked into a room that had not been cleaned no bed made no fresh towels nothing. It was left just how I left this morning I called downstairs and they said oh because of Covid we don’t have housekeeping every day. I never would’ve stayed in this hotel they should’ve told me about that they should’ve put that on their website. I paid over $600 to stay here for two nights I would expect clean towels and my bed to be made. So basically two stars is because of the terrible dining situation And the fact that they played the Covid card and did not have housekeeping. Then they offered me housekeeping tomorrow which is a big joke because I’m checking out in the morning. It’s too bad because I planned on coming back here more often now that my son goes here to college. I sadly thought this would be my go to hotel. That will not be the case

Can’t say enough about Jaron, Ahmed, and Weldon! They all made me feel comfortable and welcome the moment I stepped in the lobby. And when I needed to extend my stay, they went out of their way to accommodate me and make sure I didn’t have to move rooms for one extra night. Andrew, the bartender, also was very friendly and welcoming. By far the nicest and most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered. The rooftop bar is amazing. Comfortable, clean room and wonderful location. Overall a great experience.

There is nothing significantly wrong with the hotel if the comparable property was a boutique version of a Marriott Courtyard or Hampton inn; exactly, theres no such thing! I typically have no problem spending on a nice property; even going over $1k/night if the property delivers, but the reality is, this is the most ok'ish 3 star stay I've had in a major city in a long time. Look, It has the makings of a boutique hotel on paper but, once experienced, the boutique amenities feel more like a "checking of the box" than luxury. Molton Brown products in a dated (not classic) bathroom, loud 70's super loud & dry hvac unit you need to turn off to listen to another guest or TV. Supposed speakeasy in the basement? this is hilarious! Yes, these speakeasys are the rage all over the world & I have been to some great ones (Florería Atlántico in Beunos AIres sets the bar...) maybe the hipster 20 somethings fall for this speak easy, but....even in comparison with other speak easy's in DC-alone, this place feels like Uncle Eddie's unfinished basement. Bartenders' cocktail experience severely lacking. Given the "lack of effort" put into the gues experience at this lipstick on a pig, I truly feel bad for the hard working staff here...Owners strategy obv. bank guest surrender to the great location over true guest-experience. Look, I have no problem spending good money for a hotel, but when the amenities & photos are experienced through a night stay, the "shine wears off" quickly. Staff were great, & location is fantastic.

We stayed at the Graham hotel from 29 December-5 January. The hotel is nice and in the center of Georgetown, and is a "hidden gem" in the area. It looks very clean and the staff were always very accommodating to our requests. We had a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. These acted like 2 separate rooms, with 2 TVs etc, and so the whole suite was very spacious. However, the sofa bed is uncomfortable and totally inadequate. In all our nights, the sofa bed never provided a comfortable sleep as it was badly cushioned. There is also no housekeeping due to COVID, although other hotels provided this service. They also provide a very limited breakfast - a form you fill out instead - so bear that in mind before booking. Overall, we had a pleasant stay but the issues we had were very prominent.

The Graham is STILL my home away from home in DC. It’s an amazing feeling when I come to town once or twice a year and the hotel staff remembers me by name and is excited every time I return. Abdul has Always greeted us with a great big smile that is impossible to hide with a mask and the warmest greetings anyone could ever hope for. When we are here, he treats us like family. He and Ahmed go out of their way to ensure our stay is comfortable and worry free. They are definitely the type of people this business owner looks for! Located in the heart of Georgetown, The Graham is the perfect place to stay for the sightseer, the history buff, the shopper and the foodie. Inside, The Graham has a warm relaxing atmosphere enhanced by their amazing staff. Outside, The Graham is surrounded by countless historic sites, more shopping than any husband could stand in a lifetime and enough restaurants to move you into a new pant size...or two. On a sidenote, just bring your stretchy pants. You can thank me later!
