The neighborhood is very nice, convenient to metro and the circulator. Lots of options for eating. The house is a little more run down than we expected, duct tape around the spiggot in the tub, but clean and tidy. The breakfast was toast and bananas, the least I've had at a bed and breakfast. It was decent for the price we paid. Next time we may want to spend a little more and get more, too.

Due to Covid 19 we were unable to fly to the US because of government travel restrictions. When we contacted Adams Inn, on several occasions, they flatly refused to offer any form of refund whatsoever. I even pleaded on the phone to the owner to have some form of integrity and common decency but he just didn’t care. He pocketed my $350 and I didn’t even visit the country! I would not recommend anybody make a booking at this establishment because unless you can100% make the journey, you will lose your money.

I hate writing bad reviews, actually this may be my first. I stayed at this property 4 years ago and had a wonderful experience, was excited to book again. The place was very run down, the gardens in the back were over grown, looked like no one sat out there in years. Our toliet was broken, no one was ever at front desk to report it, actually we never saw anyone at front desk. Found a spider on my pillow. Apparently they had coffee/bkfst but everything was so dark and looked unkept, we went out for coffee/bkfst. We had a tight schedule, so running around trying to find someone was not an option. One morning, on the steps and on floor to dining room there were used tissues all over , way beyond unsanitary. I saw a lady taking pictures of it w/ her phone. With COVID, scary sight to see used tissues scatter on the floor and steps. It was sad to see how run down this property has become, if we had more time we would have found another place to stay. The house is really cute and great location but it must be under new management who doesn't take care of the property. Disappointed

Room is basic, but very clean and comfortable. Manager was friendly and helpful. The location is great. This is our “go to” hotel for visiting our son in DC. We always enjoy meeting the other guests and sitting on the front porch.
