Amazing experience ...lovely quiet large rooms, in a residential neighborhood. Close to everything in Washington, D.C. Home made breakfast- great chance to have afternoon wine and breakfast with other guests in a homely environment. Highly recommended!!!

Conversations with Laura, Raymond and guests at breakfast and wine hour were always satisfying. Perfect location. Short walk and safe feeling even for 2 women to get to/from Dupont Circle Metro at any hour. Metro gave quick access to Capital, Newseum and all central DC Sites as well as the Zoo. Fairly easy walk back from Georgetown where we had... More

We had a wonderful time! The accommodations were perfect! The owners were present but not over bearing and extremely thoughtful and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our long talks in the morning and evenings when we had time. They're very insightful and knowledgeable about the area. They made excellent recommendations and helped with reservations whenever necessary. We can't wait to go... More

We have stayed at numerous bed and breakfasts around the world, and by far, this is the best experience we've ever had. Laura and Raymond and the entire staff thought of every detail to make our stay at the Guest House a home away from home. Not enough can be said about the house itself.....our room was quiet and the... More

Visiting Washington from England as part of a tour of Civil War battlefields and quilt shops we were so fortunate to pick this little piece of Heaven as the start and finish of our journey. It is so hard to know where to begin. The ambience is outstanding. Laura and Raymond are just a delight to talk to and we... More

Laura and Raymond must be proud of what they have acheived here, a beautiful house, well situated, surrounded by choice restaurants. This was our first visit to DC and the team were friendly and went out of their way to help us have the best possible experience. Their restaurant recommendations were first class but the sense of community they engendered... More

We stayed here in May for 4 days, this was the beginning of our road trip from DC down to Amelia Island. Laura runs a tight ship here and could not find fault anywhere. The ambiance of this high class B&B is just great, we enjoyed chatting to all the guests at wine hour and over the communal breakfast table.... More

We stayed here for four nights. It is a beautiful place - the rooms are lovely and relaxing, and no details to make our stay comfortable were spared. There are some great art works around the building. We really appreciated the communal breakfast table where plans for the day were shared with others, and the early evening wine brought another... Laura and Raymond's Embassy Circle Guest House was completely satisfying in every way. A magnificent home, a beautifully furnished and totally comfortable room with shower, a delicious buffet breakfast (with Laura encouraging me to go back for seconds and thirds!), plus the truly enjoyable conversations we had with other guests at breakfast, and especially with Laura and Raymond. We were... More

Everything was lovely about our stay. You merely need to read a few of the reviews about this place to figure out its something special. I'll spare all the details as so many other people have covered them... But I would stay here again when in DC... And I would strongly recommend it to friends and family.
