The room was great and the hosts were very relaxed and welcoming. A great place to work from if you're just in town for the week. Rooms are kept in great shape and that house is really nice, quiet and well maintained. Enjoyed the chats in the morning before heading out for the day. Decent internet access as well.

The location is nice: 1/2 block from a Starbucks, 2 blocks from trendy eating spots, 4 blocks from U Street metro. The proprietor does not live on sight but emails a code to get in the front door that you then use during your stay. My room was lovely and large, but the bathroom was tiny, old and had a...

It's hard to find fault with this place. From the large comfortable room, to the friendly welcome from the proprietor John, to the handy location near downtown Washington (25 minute walk from the White House), I had a great stay here. John helpfully emailed me the details of how to get in the day before I arrived, in case he...

I recommend this for singles and couples. Great location central to all sightseeing (do uberpool; it's incredibly cheap). My host Jon was very busy but friendly and accessible. His home is absolutely a gem: warm, welcoming. More comfy bed than my own; my room was clean and large. One note for those with health issues: I was on the top...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Slate room on the second floor. The room was surprisingly large for an older home. The bed was comfortable. The metro was a short walk, and it was only a few stops to everything we wanted to see. John was available when we needed him. If you want luxury and pampering,...

My wife and enjoy the hotel and the location very much. We went for Donald Trump inauguration and The concierge was able to fine a convenient way to get there. We enjoy everyone at the desk and everyone that made our visit a great one.

We stayed in the 4th floor gray room Jan.18-21 and had a wonderful experience! The location is perfect for exploring the historic U Street Corridor. Plus, easy access to the metro made it a breeze to visit famous landmarks around the Capitol. I highly recommend the Meridian Manor if you are planning a visit to Washington DC.

We had a wonderful time at the B&B! It was close to everything, great neighborhood, and wonderful host! We stayed in a large room on the 3rd floor. The room was very clean and comfortable. Thanks John for a great weekend!

John, the owner, is very pleasant and the Bed and Breakfast is in a perfect location, right on the 16th Street bus lines. It's an easy walk to Dupont Circle and the restaurants there, as well as great places to eat on 14th Street. There is a Starbucks a half-block away. This is an old house with creaky floors. We...

Meridian Manor is a guest house and as such you are able to be independent and come and go as you please. The hosts are very helpful, and the location is quite nice. Our room was very cozy and quite comfortable.
