Not so dirty. But... It is Old. Stinky. The kitchen is dirty. The lockers are si small you cant really fit anything in there and it costs 5 dollars. Owner is friendly, but he could walk into your room without knocking. The good thing about that hostel is location and has breakfast included.

I stayed from June 21 to June 24, 4 nights. I read what others had said on here AFTER I booked the hostel and prayed for the best. Well, I want to say I had nothing to worry about. I paid $25/night and it was worth it, I'd stay there again, and yes, I'd recommend it to others. I am... More

It´s by far, the worst hostel I´ve stayed in mi hole life! It´s dirty, smelly, and it´s not properly a youth hostel (there are some people actually living there). The manager is unpleasant and the rooms are not properly cleaned (nor the bathrom). Also, they say it includes a breakfast, but that´s not true. In the kitchen they just have... More

The best thing about this property is the location in the adams morgan area. Just outside are tons of bars and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Te beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean enough, as were the bathrooms. The kitchen wasnt very well maintained but thats my only real complaint.

I liked the place, cozy, but ok. Very close to any things. The black man that worked there kept on walking around looking around. He was not working and my friend saidshe thinks he was peeping into our private room when she was dressing up. I recommend if you are going there to be careful with that guy. I wasn't the... More

After an initial cock up of bookings I arrived early in the morning to the hostel - 10 am or so. A man at the desk checked me in along with another person; I explained how my Friend wouldn't arrive until later and who was on a separate booking would like to be in the same room together; the friendly... Well. I though the hostel was OK after spending two nights and being very careful with my belongings. I stayed with a friend on a private room. Then on our last day we left our things inside the room and locked it to shower. Later in the day we discovered that $ 200 was stolen from my wallet and $200... More

I would 100% NEVER stay at this place again, even if you paid me. The location of the centre is difficult to find. First impressions are everything and upon arrival we were greeted with people who had no idea how to run the place. First of all they only accepted cash. When we got into the room we were assigned,... More

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Within minutes of checking in, they tried to charge me 75 dollars more than hostelworld had confirmed. The rooms must be of an illegal health and safety size for the amount of space per person! Beds are old, bunk beds bending in the middle! The whole place is dingy... More

Nothing fancy. The staff is quite friendly and the neighboorhood is nice. The hostel is a long walk from the White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial etc. etc., but public transportation in DC is fine. The breakfast is simple but it's always a nice touch when they have free juice and toast. Besides, it's a hostel, not a Holiday Inn.... More
