Really liked my stay here, facility and rooms are nice. The staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and help enjoy your stay. I was really impressed with the staff and how freindly everyone was!
When I checked in the desk agent was very friendly and informative. The hotel doesn't currently offer a breakfast buffet or happy hour due to the fact that it is against district regulations - completely understandable and the room rates reflect this fact. The boxed breakfast and lobby coffee is more than enough to tide one over to lunch. The room and bathroom were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The sink/microwve area was immaculate. Although the room wasn't serviced daily (per district regulations due to social distancing, not related to the hotel ), I could request towels or coffee cups at any time. This was my fifth or sixth visit at this hotel and I expect to return. If staff reads this review, please thank the quick and kind valet staff who were always at the ready to help.…
We selected this hotel due to it closeness to National mall, price, and option to accomodate more people in a room since we were travelling with family. It was very clean, covid-19 protocol was followed, and last but mot least the customer service we’ve received was excellent! We got morning breakfast in boxes for each person. It’s far from their regular breakfast in the pre-covid times, but still good. The only thing we didn’t like was the lack of option for self-parking. We had to wait almost 20 min to get our car from the vallet on check out day. We realize that’s how parking works in DC, but I think if a few minor adjustments are done it would be great.
Stayed Friday- Sunday. Valet parking only but was $35 and worth it! Hotel was clean and staff super friendly and helpful. Was a little skeptical of the box breakfast but it was delicious. Eggs, french toast, sausage, potatoes, juice and coffee all in a to-go container to eat in the room. Rooms had a dining table, living room area and kitchenette. Bed was comfy and bathroom clean. We used the capital bike share (on the corner of hotel) all weekend to explore the city for $8 per day. Hotel is centrally located to walk to the National Mall, Dupont circle farmers market, and many restaraunts. I recommend using bikes to travel to The Wharf and Georgetown Waterfront. Sunday we checked out and put our bags in the car. For $10 we could leave car in valet until 5pm much less than nearby garages and no hassle. Recommend this hotel!!…
Nice property with friendly and helpful staff. Was able to get adjoining rooms with no problem, which were spacious and clean. Valet was no issue at all. While I do miss the full service breakfast, that Embassy's usually provide, individual continental breakfast is available from the front desk upon request. Would return in a heartbeat. Do recommend the scooters for easy to transit thru the city.
