Wow, for a downtown DC hotel, this place really offers it all. Highlights: - Terrific location in Foggy Bottom--you're a 2 minute walk from the metro and very close to all the monuments. - Large Whole Foods nearby, so you can pick up pre-made food easily and you'll have a refrigerator and microwave for leftovers. Also plenty of restaurants, at...

The room was a good room and the staff, especially Calvin Nelson at the front desk, was very professional and responsive. I had a few issues, but they were resolved quickly and professionally. I would recommend this hotel.

I am a gold level Marriott member. We have issues since check in and the only resolution they have is to move us each time. I finally gave up said we will deal with the issues ( room temp, appliance issues ). On plus side good location near METRO and National Mall. Will avoid in future and go to known...

The food and beverage staff was amazing. Teresa in the food and beverage department was excellent with my kids. She went out of her way to please them. The manager JerilynSylvester ran a great shift. When visiting this property make sure to ask for them!

Fairly typical Residence Inn with slightly below average room quality. Front staff were friendly and very helpful. At breakfast, yogurt was frozen and therefore not edible; same for fruit at bottom of bowl. Hot dishes were OK. Person attending to tables and buffet was very nice. Room had problems: no chair in bedroom; toilet paper holder broken; not enough lights...

I stay at Residence Inn by Marriott several times a year in many cities. I must say the rooms at this property are not nearly as nice as many other similarly branded hotels. The HVAC ran all night and it was very difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. The decor of the room seemed a bit run down...
