It was a nice winter night in upscale Georgetown, Washington, DC. Brought late night tickets to a live jazz performance at Blues Alley. Georgetown House is only about 150 yards across the street for the front door of Blues Alley. We ordered a fabulous dinner and bounced to

Located next to the canal and half a block from the Main Street you are close to restaurants, shops and coffee shops. The room is very small reminding me of my hotel in Tokyo. The bed was too soft and made it uncomfortable to sleep but the room was kept very clean. Maybe for the

I loved the location of this property and it's historical value. It is located right on the C & O Canal and there is a placard on the building that tells about it's history. The room was right on 31st Street NW and was cute if small. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom had

Excellent base right in the center of Georgetown. Room 10 is one of the two bigger rooms - worth the price as we could spread out our belongings over the three weeks we stayed. Very comfortable and all exceptionally clean Right next door to Il Canale Restaurant - we ate there a

I stayed in Lock#8 and that was upstairs. The room itself has two levels, with the bathroom being on the hotel's second level and the bed on the hotel's third level. It's a loft style room and so there's not much extra headroom at the bed, but that was fine for me. We loved our stay there. Very convenient and reasonably priced.

Would agree with others. To far to walk and no Metro stops nearby either. Would not want the hassle of public bus so it's a car service or taxi. We used Lyft several times and were always picked up quickly and the cost was reasonable

Good morning, Please visit the link for parking information. Below I've listed several paid parking garages within a short walking distance. Station #172 (1052 31st ST NW) – Tel: 202-295-8200 0-1 hour$12.00 2 hours$16.00 Daily Max$21.00 Station #781 (3111 K ST NW) – Tel: 202-295-8100 0-1 hour$11.00 1-3 hours$21.00 3-24 hours$25.00 Station #195 (1025 Thomas Jefferson ST) – Tel: 202-295-8102 0-1 hour$11.00 Daily Max$21.00 The nearest metro station is 0.8 miles away. However, there are plenty of buses that go to the metro. From there you can get to the Smithsonian station, which is located at the National Mall where the most of the attractions are. National mall is only 2 miles away, which probably makes it easier to take a cab or Uber. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best, Ganaa

Good morning Crystal, I've put you on a waiting list. If the room opens up, I'll reserve the room for you. If not we will make sure to place a sofa bed in #10 before your arrival. Looking forward to seeing you soon, Best, Ganaa
