Rooms are modern and clean; the only telltale signs of age that were not covered up during the makeover are the doorstop on the floor of the bathroom (it has rust) and the light switch feature in the bathroom. Most people won't notice things like that, and for a short stay (I stayed for one night), there were no problems....

We would definitely go back the parking fee is a little bit steep But the rooms were nice and friendly service and location really made up for the rest. Pool option was nice bit could use an update. I was expecting the courtyard to be a bit larger than a small area with one tiny seating area...

This hotel is located near to White House, that can be considered its only plus point. The hotel is situated in the university campus in not so impressive location. There are not many good restaurants nearby and the area looks rather dull at night. One can stay in a good hotel located in a happening place as not many attractions...

RKP1953, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I was sorry to read that you did not find our stay as good as we had hoped. Please know that we are located to many restaurants, and on the corner of an active George Washington Campus. Yes, there are a few blocks of serene campus parks, but there...

jo, Thanks for writing a review. We agree that our location is perfect, and we are the perfect hotel to visit the memorials and museums. Our parking is $40/night. I know this can seem high, but based on our location and the limited options in the area, we are the same or cheaper than other options. We also offer in...

We often stay at Marriott hotels because we know what we are getting, The staff at the bar/ dining area were excellent. Really friendly and helpful. A CVS pharmacy is just one block away, there's a Starbucks with a limited menu inside the bar area with a Starbucks outside as well. And a Subway restaurant outside. There are restaurants outside...

Great location, really helpful and friendly staff. The bed, as always, the best!!!! It's perfect for a base for sightseeing as so close to everything. You're not gonna get a gourmet meal there, but the breakfast croissant is very nice and the salads are very nice too. But fear not, there's tons of great restaurants to choose from in DC....

I've very much enjoyed my two stays at the Courtyard Washington. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I've been especially impressed by my interactions with Sami - She really goes above and beyond to help guests and really just makes you feel welcomed. The hotel was accessible to restaurants and monuments including the Washington Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and around George Washington University. Room was nice, although small. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean: remarkably few toiletries etc provided. No shower cap or shower gel. Minute bottles of shampoo and small bars of soap that smell like old-fashioned laundry soap. Erratic coffee making supplies. e.g enough coffee to make two cups, but only one packet of creamer and one cardboard holder for the paper cups. But good coffee! Very comfortable beds with good...
