So great that I want to come back to Washington just to stay at the Mandarin Oriental again. Just as beautiful as the hotel website shows it to be. Alert, upbeat, engaging staff without exception. We loved our stay at the Mandarin Oriental.

The entire team is attentive. The MO Resturant hits all of the breakfast high notes. My comments of praise could go on forever. I was throughly happy with my stay. I will not stay anywhere else. Thank you for everything you did for me during my stay.

Very elegant, clean, lovely hotel with helpful and kind staff. The room was beautiful and functional and the location was within walking distance to the Warf and Nationals Field as well as famous monuments and museums. This does not come however with a higher expense but I enjoyed my stay.

We were in DC for a conference at the Mandarin Oriental, and the hotel staff provided a 5 star experience all week. The king room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The food options and conference center ballrooms were wonderful and customized with special touches. We arrived on Sunday, and there was a harp player in the lobby bar with small groups having afternoon tea. What a great first impression! The hotel is located a short walk (8-10 minutes) to The Wharf, which is filled with several good restaurants and cafés. There are two sets of 15+ stairs to get down from the hotel foot bridge to the Wharf street level, so wear flat comfortable shoes. The Mall is also a short walk, and we ordered a Lyft since the July temps were over 95 degrees during our stay. The spa, gym, and indoor pool located on the lower level and are wonderful amenities for this property. Definitely recommend the Mandarin DC for a luxury leisure trip or an unforgettable corporate event.

Wonderful experience-rooms neat, clean and we were given an upgrade for all 3 rooms as we invited family members to join us. The Spa was so clean, relaxing and the massages were fantastic. Room service breakfast has-and continues to be-on time with all the food at the correct temperatures. Very professional and courteous staff from the front door to the housekeepers. Our stand out employee that we need to recognize is Aila, Front Desk Representative. She ensured that every phase of our stay was at a better than expected level. She was so wonderful to work with during our stay and we look forward to seeing her in the future when we reserve at the Mandarin! Thank you Aila!!

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental DC was fantastic. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. I happened to arrive before check in time and the front desk person found a room ready for my unexpected early check in. The hotel is very well located and has excellent amenities.

I couldn't possibly say enough good things about our stay. From the moment we checked in with Aila at the front desk to the minute we said goodbye to Carlos in the Breakfast room we were treated magnificently. We were guests at the spa on Sunday and that was sublime. Our room was spectacular and I took 3 baths in that tub that I wish I could have brought home! Thank you for having us and we'll definitley be back.

We stayed in a family suite at this beautiful property. It is very expensive, but unlike so many other luxury properties they don’t nickel and dime you on everything. The family package included valet, breakfast, a movie in the room along with all the planned activities nightly and by signing up for their loyalty program I was able to check in very early and check out very late. Anything we needed was delivered quickly and everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was a truly exceptional experience.

The girls and I wanted a spa excursion and splurge. Something close by and decadent. Mandarin for the bill. 2 days to pamper ourselves, enjoy the Wharf and celebrate friendship. The hotel was everything we expected.

The rooms are terrific as well as the location. The service at the bar and restaurant is painfully slow. I had to flag down a server on multiple occasions and then it took a really long time for drinks and food. The manager conceded they were short staffed and gave us complimentary drinks and comped the food.
