We loved our time at the Chester A. Arthur B&B. The breakfasts were fabulous, the staff was friendly and the location was great and easy to get to and from. We will DEFINITELY be back! Close to great restaurants and there is a bus stop right outside the door for easy access to transit.

On or rather in Logans Circle in the historic district of Washington DC is Chester Arthur House B&B, a fantastic house with all the old charm still there. It´s like small travel in time. The room we stayed in was on one floor up straight in and was very spacius and towards the back of the house. It was very...

Great location just far enough away from the National Mall, but within easy walking distances of buses for easy access. Nice restaurants abound within a half mile, and Logan circle is a delight. Will definitely be back.

I was at a huge conference, and LOVED the peace and quiet of coming back to this B & B at the end of each day. The welcome I received, delicious breakfast and nice follow up truly made me feel at ease and comfortable. The walk to the convention center is only 15 minutes, and was a wonderful way to...

What a great experience we had during our stay - hospitality, service, convenience, value, this place has it all. Incredible old relics and furnishings - like a stay in turn-of-the-century Washington. Only minor issue -- wifi doesn't reach top floor very well. Otherwise a perfect stay.

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay here. Don, Carl, and Eric provided excellent service to compliment a beautiful old house. Breakfasts were always a delicious surprise (including the conversations). The location is great, slightly off the beaten path of major D.C. tourist attractions yet still very close to them. The price was surprisingly very affordable despite the upscale...

My wife and I stayed here over the New Years holiday. We were very pleased with all aspects of our visit. The location is convenient to many shops & restaurants, and about a 10 minute work to the subway. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is updated and modern. There is parking off the...

I stayed only one night but plan to return with my wife. The house is on lovely Logan Circle, an area I'd neglected till now. The circle has a number of Victorian architectural gems, including this one. The house's furnishings are period and evocative. If you want a soulless chain luxury hotel, as some do, this is not the place...

The Chester Arthur House B&B will suit your needs just fine. It certainly has the feel of a 19th Century home, though our bathroom was quite modern. And if you ask me I prefer a period appropriate home as long the bathroom is updated. The location is excellent. Though a little tight, off-street parking is available (for a modest fee)...

We're very appreciative of the guest's praise, though a little disappointed we didn't earn a 5-star rating, which is what we strive for. Not sure what to make of the "minimally furnished" comment: the house is chock-a-block with furniture, virtually all antiques in the original (1883) part. But mostly we're very glad they had a good experience and plan to...

We stayed in the Magnolia Room on the second floor. This is supposed to be the most quiet room at the B&B; we did not try out the other rooms, but this one was quiet - very few city sounds. The location is great - was easy to get to our friends just a couple of blocks away, lots of...
