Soufian was attentive to our diets from day one and would suggest options that are not even on the menu. We appreciated his ability to code-switch and use English, French, and Arabic to address each one of us. Even when running late he would immediately prepare our breakfast as a takeaway. I am thankful for the great service!
The hotel has been great. Requests (for toiletries, microwave, room change) have been duly fulfilled. Cleaning staff has been great. Nice refreshment throughout the day. Leslie and Stephanie have been absolutely delightful.
Lelise at Melrose Hotel was so very accommodating, pleasant and suggested places to visit, dine was so very welcoming. Mr Ben as well was very friendly, welcoming and trustworthy. Thank you all for our experience.
It's an amazing experience and the breakfast service is amazing especially Sofiane. The rooms are great. The pillows are fluffy. The receptionists are so nice and everything is super good. Thank you so much
Great location and walking distance from Georgetown district bubbly with restaurants shops and stores. This hotel is on one of important avenues of DC, so the circulator bus (just a dollar for great sighteeing) stops almost at the door.. In house parking costs around fifty bucks a night. You can take out and use your as amny tiems needed with the same charge per night. Breakfast is delicious and fancy. For two, we paid sixty dollars. There is courtesy coffee in the lobby in the mornings. We were in a room on the second floor that faced a rooftoop with a transformer tha made an annoying buzz. We asked for a different room and were moved to the seventh floor. This room was much smaller (the first one had 2 couches) and an on and off tip tap from the 8th floor was quite annoying. Rooms have no celing lights therefore the table lights provide a rather intimite atmosphere. Don´t plan on reading much in the room. the people at the main desk are out of this world. They go way beyond their duties to assist and guide you. They gave a tip on a private tour company that was very gratifying. If you get a room with the bed next to the toilet wall, ask for a different one. After 9 pm, the bar shuts down and there is no room service. I will explore other options next time I visit DC.…
Just spent the a few nights at the Melrose for a business trip at the start of the new year and wow! This place is truly a GEM! Had a chance to speak to and meet the General Manager, Modi who was so welcoming and truly acted as if he had known me forever and was happy to host me in his hotel. It was such a pleasant experience on that end. I do want to give a special acknowledgment to the valet service, especially Mary who had my car ready for me and addressed me by name everytime I needed it. A simple text request and the rest was so convenient. The hotel itself is classy and my sleeping room was more than adequate with all of the necessary luxury. Can't wait to come back to the Melrose!
Great hospitality and fast service always with a smile. Leslie’s hospitality was on full display as she had an answer for every time we came or called the desk. Rooms were clean and nice size. We would definitely stay again.
From the first step you give in to the hotel you feel a nice amd warm welcome. Lelise is a nice girl who can help you with anithing. Me and my girlfriend had a great dinner, fast and nice service. Totally recommended, would be back again if Im in this country.
The Melrose is one of my favorite DC hotels. I always feel welcomed when I stay here while visiting my student at GWU. The lobby is beautiful and the small bar inviting for a cocktail before dinner out. Just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants of Georgetown. I can walk to GWU Campus in less than 10 minutes. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. You can’t beat the location.
The Melrose Georgetown Hotel was the perfect location for our trip to DC. The staff was amazing! From the valets to the front desk. Lelise and Jake were very professional and handled all our needs. We will definitely stay here again! The fitness center was a plus too!
