We stopped on our way north from Florida. It was raining and the valet quickly took care of our car. The man at the front desk checked us in and took our order for dinner in the room. Moments later he and the man from the restaurant brought us our cocktails to our room and assured us dinner would be coming shortly, which it did and it was delicious. The next morning we had a nice breakfast and our car was waiting for us ready to go. Highly recommend! While we all give thanks to the wonderful health care community taking care of us during this crazy time, those in hotels are also truly doing their part in keeping the world turning. I am thankful.

Recently re-opened (mid-October). Nice fireplace. Good coffee in the morning. Understaffed. Limited room service. Excellent bell-hop and parking attendants. Top shelf security. Rooms were sparsely furnished, with very uncomfortable seating. (we stayed in a large suite, that needed more comfortable chairs, and a better couch. The bathrooms were nice. Flowers not delivered, only wine and beer available. Several walking areas had dangerous "bumps" that were taped over in black tape. Injuries occurred while we were on property for one night. The restaurant was closed and this was not divulged when we made our reservations for a party of 10 with 3 suites, and 4 other bedrooms. Would not recommend or return.

I stayed at this hotel for several weeks in the midst of the COVID-10 pandemic. I would have stayed longer, but economics forced the hotel to close for a few months, like so many others. The rooms are comfortable and lovely without being overdone. There is an understated quality to the decor, with a comfortable but clean, uncluttered look. The tunnel that connects the West Wing rooms to the lobby is such warm, attractive brick. The art and furniture in the lobby have a slightly edgy, funky air to them, but are also really comfortable. The fireplace is nice. There were minimal staff on site, but they were all determined to maintain the standards of service for which Ritz-Carlton is known. They went out of their way to accommodate their few guests during a difficult time. I can only imagine what a great experience it is to stay there when all their resources are in play.

This was my first time staying in this particular Ritz-Carlton. The location is perfect-within walking distance to a large number of restaurants. We were immediately net by staff to take our car and our luggage. Upon check-in we were offered a complementary glass of champagne. Fast curteous check-in-the lobby is nice and bright. Our room was beautiful-very clean-well equipped. I can honestly say that I heard no noise while inside my room-very quiet-perfect for a great night's rest. We ate several meals here-the staff is very helpful and accomodating. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be returning.

I don't believe I've ever seen this hotel at the gov't lodging rate, but when I saw the rate was at the my price range, I just had to try it out. And now I can see why everyone loves staying at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown. The hotel staff have some of the best customer service and the location is ideal. I was able to use a parking app to save some bucks and do my own parking rather than using the valet. In better times, you have so many options including the AMC theatres and many top rated restaurants to choose that are within walking distance. The rooms were perfection and I had one my best sleep in years in the comfort of the Ritz Carlton. Even the hallways to get to your room felt rich in history and intrigue. No disrespect to the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City, but this hotel property just left me speechless. Look forward to coming back.
