My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with a splurge at the Georgetown Ritz-Carlton. I arranged it as a surprise, and so I was a little nervous about how much she would like it. I shouldn't have worried. It was amazing, beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. We are especiall

We really enjoyed this small, boutique Ritz. Nice building, great room, nice lounge, nice restaurant and a great location for Georgetown. We stopped in for just one night of an 8 day birthday tour of DC, Annapolis, Philadelphia and Georgetown. Recommended.

Today it is so easy to forget when a job is done well. From beginning to end my stay here was excellent and I was made to feel welcome. Its the little things, like a call to inquire if you will need your car before check out on a marathon day. No complaints at all here. Only vale

I travel a lot for work and I would put the positive energy and friendly nature of the employees of this hotel up against any other I have ever stayed in. Doors are opened for you, no one is sitting around as everyone always seems to be in motion. Rooms are not the nicest of the

We were in DC to have dinner with a relative and chose the Ritz for our lodging since we heard it is nice and we had not stayed there previously. From the moment we arrived we were pleasantly smothered with personalized attention and felt very welcomed. The property is quirky in

How many can sleep in the suite room? How many beds?
We had 4 people sleep comfortably in the suite. 2 in the king bed, 1 on pull out couch and 1 in roll away.

How far away is the hotel from the nearest metro to get in the city? Or is this walkable?
The hotel is in the heart of Georgetown which is a very lovely walk-able area with shops, restaurants and nightlife. To get to the Mall/museum area metros the easiest but years ago when the Metro was first proposed the residents of Georgetown wanted none of it so the closest stop is Foggy Bottom. You can walk to it but it is a healthy walk maybe 15 minutes but it is a fun walk through historic Georgetown and across rock Creek Park to Foggy Bottom. The problem would be coming home from a day of walking museums the wlak from the metro to your hotel would be extra tiring. If you want easy access to Metro a better bet for a hotel of that caliber would be the Mayflower, where I have also stayed and really enjoyed (actually better than the Georgetown Ritz) or the downtown Ritz which I have not been to so I would suggest reading the reviews. I know for a while a few years back that Ritz was really sliding downhill but I believe it has had a renovation. Both of these hotels are also Marriott properties if you have a preference. If you stay closer to the metro definitely take the short cab ride to Georgetown, it should be part of any trip to DC. Aslo, if you have Uber it works very well in DC, much cheaper, cleaner and better than DC cabs. Enjoy your visit!

Not at this location
The Ritz Georgetown does not have a concierge level. There is another Ritz in DC and I am not sure if they have a club level.

Is there a club level at the Ritz Georgetown? What benefits do Marriott Gold Elites get?
Greetings. This question was forwarded to me by Trip Advisor. The short answer is "I am not sure". Our reservations were made through Virtuoso so we got 'Club Level' type amenities - breakfast for two included, late check out, free internet access and so on. This is without a doubt one of our favourite hotels in the US and, for us ranked up there with the Four Seasons NYC and the Soho Grande in terms of service.......
