The team was great! They really took care of our dietery needs, and everyone who works there was very helpful and nice. Great stay! The only negative is the scent that is pumped through the vents. Haa chooo! If the hotel were unscented, it would be perfect.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The Ritz GM: Rishi delivered incredible customer service personally taking our bags to our room and back to the lobby. George the head doorman was also great to chat with while we waited for our car. Loved the small touches including a special bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Thank you to the Ritz team for making it such a great experience.
Very pleased with the level of attentive service at this beautiful hotel. While many hotels have been doing away with amenities and services during the pandemic, it’s really nice to see that Ritz Carlton is still living up to its five star status. Great staff, delicious food, nice ambiance. Really looking forward to returning next week!
We stayed here for a wedding. The staff was amazing. They were available, helpful, and friendly. Very professional. The hotel has a cool vibe. It’s close to Georgetown shopping, restaurants, and Ronald Reagan Airport. Ubers are easy to get from here. Walking is easy and safe. The lobby is nice and the rooms are spacious and clean with a big bathroom. Maid service is fabulous. A couple days our trash was even emptied twice in the day. Biggest downer - parking is valet and $55/day. Wish it was less expensive for the cost of the hotel but maybe that’s a standard price for DC. Also the restaurant had the most amazing bacon.
Stayed here for my graduation, and everyone was truly so kind and engaging. My husband refers to me as a 'reluctant extrovert" but I truly looked forward to my interactions with everyone, especially the valets and bell people. They had the best personalities, and were so kind to me. The construction in the area had us a little confused driving in, but be sure to enter the physical address in your GPS, or else you'll just be told you're there when you are actually on the highway above the hotel. My only complaints would be that the bottom of the stairs off of the lobby could use one more light as they were a little dark for a klutz like myself (I didn't trip, but I saw potential), and there were some instances where a juice was left off of our room service order/beverages could've been a little more generous for the cost. Otherwise, it is my go to when I am in town!…
We came to Washington, DC to bury my mother and play tourists and while there I came down with stress-induced IBS that seriously impeded our plans. However, the staff of the hotel - and, in particular, Concierge Luis Peche - came to my rescue in more ways than I can count. Customized meals. Friendly and impeccable service. Help with finding anything we needed on- or off-site. Assistance hiring a driver and finding a concierge doc. I am 71 years old and have been traveling almost since birth, have stayed in many five-star destinations, and would say that the service at the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown was unmatched.
This property has unique architecture & history. It is in a prime location with access to shopping, restaurants, bars via a quick walk. It was decorated beautifully over Christmas. The staff is fantastic, making sure you have everything you need. It is very clean & professional. Our only complaint is that the furnishings and rooms are tired & in desperate need of upgrades. I feel a lot of Ritz properties are becoming this way after being bought by Marriott.
The staff here has been steady and exceptional for years. This was my family’s 5th return in 10 years and they always hit the mark. From George at the front door, to Axel at the desk to Sherman in Degrees. There are many others too, who all add to a great experience. Give them a shot and you will also keep coming back for years to come!
Wonderfull experience, king suite room excellent king bed, big bathroom, huge shower, dual thermostats, two televisions, high speed internet. Great desk for working, two bathrooms. The only problem we had was the pullout couch. Two adults traveling with a teenager. We booked the room for 3 and there was no bedding for pullout in the room provided when we arrived late, there is also no housekeeping late so getting bedding was a huge struggle. The mattress on the bed was possibly 2 inches thick and embarrassing for this level of a hotel. I felt terrible asking my teenager to sleep on it. We regularly use a pullout and my teenager has never complained, this time she did. If you have three people DO NOT rely on the pullout for a comfortable sleep, even for children. It is too bad that this is what we will remember.…
My friends and I visited the Spa at the Ritz Carlton Georgetown due to a recent family tragedy that led us in desperate need of some relaxation. The hot stones and stress relieving massage was by far the most nurturing and relaxing experience I have ever experienced. What made the day fabulous was Belinda's quintessential 5 star customer service. She took extra time and care with our booking and went far beyond the call of duty or reasonable expectation. Belinda's kindness and warmth reminded me that even in the wake of tragedy, there are always beautiful souls waiting to spread their light and kindness.
