We as a family, couple and two daughters 15&20, stayed at Lexington 9th floor two-bed apartment for nine nights. We had no car in DC and had to rely mostly on either walk or Metro. The greatest advantage of our location was that all of us had places of our interest at walking distance. they included shopping centres, restaurants, smithsonian...

The Oakwood Lexington is right across the street from the Oakwood Lansburgh, where I also stayed for several weeks on an extended TDY (government business trip). The best part is the location: right in the heart of Penn Quarter, so it's an easy walk to work in the Federal Triangle area and an even easier walk to fun, as it's...
