The hotel is older and some wear is visible in the rooms and halls but the staff are some of the best I have experienced. Great breakfast and even though you are right downtown it is safe and quite. I will be staying here whenever I am in town. Totally recommend this location

One night stay. Quiet, restful area. Hotel room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, the expected quality of Marriott. You are within walking distance of the Wharf area. Easy access to most places in the area. Walk or grab a cab.
"During the summer when more families visit buy breakfast foods and make your own in the room."
"CVS is located right next door which has a selection of microwave meals if you feel like eating something quick."
"12th floor mini-suite was great (except for dog next door.)"
"ask for a room facing Thomas Circle for better views. CVS is right next to the hotel for any amenities you might have forgotten."
"the hotel has windows that block our street noise, so all rooms are really great"
