I try always to stay here when I go to DC for work. The location is perfect, the huge space is amazingz Trader Joe’s and Whole Food Marked is just around the corner. A great burger and Shake-place also. The service is the best. I would like to mention Tas in the reception, who made my last stay extra nice.
Excellent property. Staff was very accommodating to meet our needs and knowledgeable of the area. On site restaurant and bar had exceptional service. Very clean. Will definitely stay again when in the DC area.
We had a wonderful time at the hotel! It was truly perfect for our family and the staff were all wonderful. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is because you don’t have control over your heat/AC and while we were there it was in the 70s and the room was sooo hot! Definitely uncomfortable sleeping at night so we had to open windows. That would be my only complaint.
Had a great time with this hotel and also accommodations with our two pets were amazing!!! I would recommend this to pet parents and anyone traveling with a dog! Loved the atmosphere and walking distance to local places and foods as well! I hope to return back in the near future! And also accommodated my F450 super duty truck!
Hard hotel to review because I liked everything about this place except trying to sleep at night. Wasn’t kept awake by noisy hallways or neighbors but by the temperature in the room. Stayed three nights and the temperature was 58, 70, and 52 outside. The temperature in the room would not go below 76 unless you opened the windows. Hard to sleep, however, with the windows open because of the street noise below. The problem lies that the hotel can only spew heat or a/c but not both. Therefore, during the Spring and Fall you may be very cold or very hot depending on what is coming out of the hotel’s vents. The hotel is aware of this problem because it even has a sign explaining this above the thermostat. Wasn’t sure, however, why the room stayed so hot even with the overnight temperature getting into the 40’s and 50’s and the heat turned off in the room. Either the hotel is very well insulated or the heat is rising to the top of the hotel (we were on the 10th floor). Besides the temperature in the room, the room itself was very clean and spacious. Contained a full kitchen that was on the older side but very functional. Service was very friendly and the neighborhood is extremely safe. If no traffic, 10 minute taxi ride to the mall area. Five minute walk to the nearest metro station.…
