OUTSTANDING stay! My boyfriend and I visited from California to celebrate his birthday. We checked in 11/12, the rest of our party checked in the following day. Since the moment we arrived, we were greeted by all of the staff which was such a warm welcome. We had a balcony without a view, we figured we would see if we could get one with a view- right away we were walking into a new room- 9th floor and stunning view of the city. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are beautiful, the continental breakfast had plenty of great options. Appreciated the unlimited water bottles and our personal favorite, the Wine Hour! Complimentary wine from 5-6pm, we LOVED it! We were able to connect with the friendly staff and bartenders who were 100% on point with helpful tips, amazing service, and a great attitude which was such a pleasure to enjoy every evening. A few of our favorites were Prisliza, Jazz, Melissa, Camille, and Kaye. Thank you for all of your help in making our stay at the St Gregory, and our entire vacation to Washington an absolute hit! We appreciate you all so very much. ...and thank you for laughing when my boyfriend picked up breakfast in his robe. HAHA. Thank you! Love, Nathalie and Fredo.…
St Gregory is a divine hotel situated in the most perfect location in D.C. nestled between Dupont Circle and Georgetown. Robert, Rene + the entire St Gregory team went above and beyond during our 3-day business retreat. They set the standard for hospitality and made our group feel like we were at home. That is rare in today's travel and hospitality market. But that is why they are world-class. We truly can't wait for our next stay.
Jazz, Kaye and Melissa gave us amazing hospitality. We love the St Gregory! It’s an outstanding hotel. I don’t know how anyone else will top this experience , my puppy and I feel right at home. I highly recommend for people with fur babies. And it’s perfectly located for all activities, sightseeing shopping, dining and business. Not to mention the very chic style of the independent hotel.
What a find ! We loved everything about this luxury Boutique hotel ! The room was amazing and so spacious for our family of four. We booked the one bedroom double suite. 850 square feet was amazing. The service was so personal from the moment we checked in ! Robert greeted our family and made us all feel so special. He brought up robes, waters, home made chocolate chip cookies to our room upon arrival. We loved the breakfast and wine hour. All of the staff were so friendly, and greeted us and knew us each day ! We really enjoyed the location and surrounding area. Especially close to Georgetown. Main monuments about a 15-20 minute walk away. We would return, and highly recommend this location !
A stayed at the St Gregory one weeknight in October. I had a room facing M street on the 2nd floor...incredibly noisy! You can hear the street all day and all night. My room also had an air conditioner that sounded like a wind turbine and a running toilet. Room was large but signs of age were everywhere...chipped closet vanity, peeling wallpaper, threadbare towels (and no washcloth), and a cracked slipguard in the tub. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and those linens seemed newer. Also water got very hot in the shower. In short...this hotel is average. Wouldnt visit again given the other options in the area.
