The hotel experience was nice overall. Great location. I was concerned about the weather, but the weather was great...in the 70's. This hotel and others nearby were offered as a great place to stay for our party which was in Jack London Square. This hotel is convenient for walking around and being close to some of the main restaurants and...

This hotel is the perfect place for any tourist to stay. Great location to reach the museums, malls and metro. The staff is extraordinarily nice and helpful. They made the stay excellent. My son's highlight of the trip was the pool.

This is my "go to" hotel when in DC. Great location only five blocks from convention center. And it is very convenient to the National Mall, Ford Theater, National Portrait Gallery and a host of other attractions. There are quite a few nice restaurants in close proximity and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is centrally located. It's easy to spend the day walking around to all the national monuments and The a White House from here. It's a short walk to the shopping near the hotel and on Connecticut Ave & Downtown. Hotel staff were very helpful as we were only in DC for 2 days so we had to make...

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the National Mall - a pleasant walk away. the hotel is located in a renovated bank - a lovely old building. The lobby is small and simple. Our room was quite small and basic and disappointingly looked out into a little dead space between buildings -no view at all. The small...

We visit for Shakespeare Theater Company often, and is the ideal hotel for that, plus the dozens of great restaurants in the Penn Quarter...plus a short walk to Smithsonian museums. Staff at the hotel all warm, welcoming, attentive, from check in to car valets to housekeeping supervisor. We were on 9th floor, room plenty big, great view. Great hotel experience...

Spent a cold couple of days in DC and this was the perfect base. Nice greeting from front desk and checked in quickly. Suggested room for us was 5th floor with street view. Nice and quiet. Small pool and gym in basement which we used and was fine. Discovered bar connected to hotel day 2 which had good selection of...

My wife and I went to watch the NY Islanders play against the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center and wanted to stay close to the venue, so after reading the reviews, I figured i wasn't going to find a better hotel, especially for the price. What an amazing hotel and staff! Got a free upgrade too! The hotel staff...

My daughter and I went to Washington DC for the weekend and needed to be near the Smithsonian. This hotel was the perfect location. Quick trip on the metro from Union Station to a block away from the hotel. Quick trip by metro to museums or a very pleasant walk to the Mall. Restaurants near by. The staff was very...

Having now stayed at this property, I need to first add a note of correction. In November I stayed at Courtyard Arlington Crystal City/Reagan National Airport and wrote a review that should have been for that property -- titled A Few Irritations. So if you look back to that review and see the reference to the airport shuttle and all,...
