This was by far and away the best stop on our trip. Keith immediately made us feel at home in this wonderful older home. The stained glass and period pieces let us know immediately that this was a special place. We chose to park our car and walk the five days we were in DC. Glenda's breakfasts were outstanding! We...

There is something about staying in a real bedroom that makes a visit feel more like home. At Mt Vernon B&B, when you close the door to your room, you are literally in a safe haven. Yes, you'll hear the sounds of the city outside, but you won't hear your neighbors in the next room! Every thing was exceptionally clean....

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights and it was very nice. Close enough to walk 3-4 blocks from the metro. We took the metro from the airport to Mt Vernon Square for $2.75 and walked to the house. We also walked to Union Station several times which was about 10 blocks. We stayed in the Bombay room upstairs...

Mt Vernon B & B is located near the D.C. Convention Center, the Metro and the dining center on 7th Street NW. If you are a walker, the Mall is just over a mile a way. The rooms are clean, good sized and pleasant. Breakfast is served family style at 8:30 AM, so nice way to meet fellow travelers, but...

We were an easy taxi ride to the National Art Gallery. Loved leaving our car T the B&B and the taxi was cheaper than having to park. Our room was on the third floor, large and comfortable. The Jacuzzi tub was a real plus. Breakfast was delicious and the other guests were educated intelligent people. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Mt. Vernon Square B&B for the weekend to attend a conference. I could walk to the convention center and to the metro station within minutes. The building was meticulously clean and had a beautiful architecture. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

I had such an exceptional time staying at the Mt. Vernon Square Bed and Breakfast. From the moment I saw the place I knew I had made the right decision booking my reservation there. Keith met me at the door with a smile on his face. His place is beautiful, warm and inviting. It has such charm. The room I...

Lovely renovated home, filled with antiques and friendly proprietor. Especially enjoyed the themed rooms and stained glass windows. This is in an up and coming neighborhood in DC, and quite walkable to all I wanted to do and see.

What a wonderful stay! The room (Cleopatra) was huge and clean and just everything we wanted. The bathroom alone is to die for. And lets not even start on breakfast! I wish wed stayed longer than the 2 nights for that breakfast alone. We didn't even check out before we started telling our friends that they better not stay anywhere...
