Attended a wedding in July, booked a king bed suite for the weekend. We were put the tiniest room with a regular bed. When we asked the front desk about it, they said you were with the wedding block of rooms and it is first come first served???? Our options for the wedding block of rooms was king bed or TWO doubles. There was no option for ONE double. And they wouldn't give me my Marriot points credit because I booked with the wedding party???? They also would not adjust the room price, they said all rooms were the same price??? Since when?? I purposely called the hotel to make the reservation and to talked to a HUMAN so there wouldn't be any mistake. I've also filed a dispute/complaint with the main Marriot website and they do not respond, just close my complaint. Refiled and again have heard NOTHING!!! Needless to say, I will never be booking with Marriot again.

Overpriced, spall rooms. So much noise from the street. Rooftop restaurant bar had $50 minimum without telling. Terrible night sleep in small room that was supposedly an upgrade. Never again. Shower in the middle of room-bizarre. No desk. The music and construction and traffic nonstop. Never again.

Nice room, great location and close to the action. I will probably stay at the the JW Marriott next time. The "Round Robin" bar is next door; super iconic. Make a reservation for the roof top bar "White House" view.

We decided to bring our family back to Washington DC for a family vacation. The W hotel was perfect for our family of five. The staff, amenities, cost, and location are the best around. The housekeeper, Irene Lemos, truly made our stay the best with her welcoming attitude and happy personality. In past trips to Washington, we have stayed at different properties and they all have been great, but the W hotel has all the best of everything they have all in one place. We highly recommend this hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying at The W during my recent work trip to DC. The hotel staff were on point and handled my every need. The rooms are modernized and spacious. The location is walking distance to the National Mall. I will definitely be back!
