This is actually our 3rd stay at the Hyatt located at The Warf. Perfect location. The area is peaceful and close to the sites. There is a convinience store nearby and a lot of restaurants to choose from.

We stayed one night for a weekend getaway in July. This hotel is connected to the Canopy by Hilton, which makes it very convenient because when you drive in for parking, you can enter through the Canopy and still get to the Hyatt House. Overall I give this place 4/5 stars. Highly recommend! Rooms-- a very European feel. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. The rooms were also VERY clean. I am a neat freak and get easily grossed out at hotels, but our room was VERY clean. Security -- I felt very safe in this hotel. In order to use the elevator, you have to have a room key card so you won't feel unsafe here. This also seems to make sure that the hotel is only used by guests and that you don't have a lot of noise from parties and the like here. Food -- we had the complimentary breakfast, and it was as-expected. I certainly couldn't complain. There were a lot of options available, including French toast, potatoes, sausage, eggs, pastries, toast, bagels, etc. Breakfast hours were convenient, too. Location -- Excellent! It's right on the wharf/water and just a short walk to the restaurants on the wharf or even to the National Mall and parks. We caught a Lyft to Georgetown, and I'm sure you could Lyft pretty much anywhere in the city.

The staff at the Hyatt is above exceptional, especially the front desk staff. They treated our family like old friends and tried to be as helpful as possible to us. The rooms are modern and clean. The location is fabulous! It was a wonderful stay.

Can't beat the location and access to everything fun about the wharf and being so close to D.C. Hotel was clean, rooms were clean, beds were comfy. I didn't get any warm fuzzies from the staff though...one cleaning lady we saw on our last day was the friendliest. Parking is a bit confusing and the circle where you drop off your car is busy and crowded. If you are there for the first time, it can be a little frazzling. After they take your car, you have to find your way around the corner to the hotel entrance. Be sure to be specific if you want daily or valet parking. Daily, you park on your own, valet the workers will take your car for you...it's more expensive. There is a sign with rates but they don't explain this.

We stayed here back in Nov 2018 for a week, Returned in June had an Awful experience MAINLY with the Manager Michael. He was absolutely Rude , Seemed aggravated he had to be there. talked down to us and other guest, I asked to speak to his supervisor he said he was the manager and he was at the top .. So I called Hyatt Corp and filled a complaint. It was so bad Corp called and spoke to him and got met with the same attitude as we did. Informed us that Hyatt's are Franchised and they have no control over Management but they did offer to move us to another property and we accepted. MOVED DOWNTOWN AND LOVED IT.. STILL FILING COMPLAINT WITH CORP.
