The staff was the friendliest people that we met during our vacation. They went above and beyond to greet us and ask if we needed anything. The room was small but comfortable and well maintained while we were there. The location was very accessible to both the metro train and bus. We found excellent dining nearby.
Had a great experience at the hotel. I especially want to recognize the front desk agent Aline who was so wonderful. From the very beginning when i checked in she greeted me with a smile and welcoming attitude. Throughout my entire stay she helped with directions to the office, restaurant recommendations, and anytime she greeted me in the lobby she always had a smile and made a long business trip quite enjoyable. Thank you Aline!
5 stars for the front desk staff ALINE she was very Friendly,Nice and Helpful 4 stars for the hotel, the place and the room is good. 0 stars for the beddings, blanket and pillow cases smell bad,(smell fishy)it seems they didnt change and the smell clung to our bottom and top pajamas.
I came into Club Quarters Hotel on a busy Saturday, and Aline at the front desk was very helpful! She was able to find exactly what I was looking for, and showed me how to get there. Aline is truly an awesome person, and an asset to Club Quarters Hotel!
The room was slightly larger than a closet. The bed was smaller than a queen and they charged me $757 for one night. This was a last resort stay as nothing else was available. You will be disappointed if you choose this hotel.
Perfect location for easy access to DC attractions. King sized room stayed in was clean and comfortable and requested microwave was a blessing. Some improvements would have been welcomed such as better water pressure in shower and having liquid soaps in dispensers. Be careful about promised laundry advertised in booking information as this was non existent.
I stayed here for one week and my experience overall was good; however; having stayed at a CQ in Nezw York, I must confess I was a little bit disappointed with the room. The location of the hotel is good if you only need a place where to sleep. There is a French bakery across the street, a Starbucks and a 7/11 nearby. Access is easy with subway and buss only steps away. However, remember this is a financial area so during the weekend it is entirely dead. Almost everything is closed. Check in and check out were smooth and quick. Staff were very nice and helpful. One of the things I love about the CQ hotels is the free coffee, tea and water bottles. They have a space, usually on the 2nd floor, where you can work, grab a coffee or tea or fill your water bottle. Water bottles also available on the different floors. The room itself was much smaller than I had anticipated. The bathroom seemed to be old and it was really tiny. What I found annoying was a terrible smell that came out of the bathroom. I am not sure if it was the curtain or something else but it was driving me crazy. I had a mini fridge in the room and an iron and board. Please note some rooms are very close so if you are a light sleeper and your neighbours are noisy; you will hear everything. I also noticed thqt the smells also travel across the rooms.…
This “kitchenette” was really a kitchen-not. The only “upgrade” from a regular hotel room was a microwave - mini fridge and Keurig are standard anywhere these days. No dishes, silverware, kitchen sink or mini dishwasher. If you have an extended stay and need a kitchenette, this is not your spot.
This hotel is not at all what I expected. The hotel location was great. The hotel was not. Their system was down. They advertise onsite parking but it isn’t onsite and it’s a separate cost. The room was dirty and dusty. The room was also extremely dated. There was holes in the paint on the baseboards and the wifi didn’t work.
I was a little nervous booking this hotel, I have never heard of them and there were some iffie reviews.. I booked it based on location, price and took the benefit of the doubt on the good reviews. The check in process was easy, the front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. The check out process was even easier. There was no breakfast but they recommended the place across the street, and when you show your hotel key you get 10% off. And the recommendation was great! The room was clean. The bed was OK comfy, I wouldn't say they were uncomfortable but I wouldn’t say they were super comfy either.. bathroom was clean, but I did feel like it could be cleaner.
