enjoyed staying there again. close to everything we wanted to do and found some new restaurants. front desk staff is awesome and very helpful. parking is close and cheap. The room is small but has everything you would need.
Great location, close to everything. Conference room clean, readily available for remote meetings. Albeit small, my room was super clean and had a pleasant view to the park. Tsedenia, front desk staff, super friendly. Great hotel for a fast paced, functional stay. Ruth
The staff were very friendly and helpful! But the building...It was so rundown, I was shocked. No coffee shop, no food whatsover in the building. The only amenities are a water dispenser with a sign saying "chilled water"--but it was luke warm. Ugh. We had 4 rooms, because we were traveling with friends, and 2 of the rooms had no refrigerator, just the empty frame for it (although housekeeping brought one up). No bathtubs in any room. The rooms were worse than the motel we stayed at once in North Carolina. It seems like they could put a little more effort! No bedcovers, no bathtubs. Not what I expected for $120 a night.
Our booking, via booking.com, said: "Breakfast is included in the final price." And the breakfast types were listed as "Continental, Vegetarian, American, Breakfast to go". HOWEVER, we received no information about breakfast when we arrived, and when we checked back later, we were told that there was no breakfast at this hotel and we could just get a 10% discount at the Pain Quotidien across the street instead. We complained the next day and got the price of breakfast deducted from our booking, but it is really cheeky that we were ever charged for breakfast in the first place, as – looking at reviews now – the hotel had stopped serving breakfast by at least 2019. And we would have preferred to book a hotel that actually had breakfast available. Also, our room was extremely noisy with street noise, as well as noise from an office air conditioning vent. The one nice thing about this hotel was that we were offered early check-in and the fee was waived. …
Since my stay at this hotel one week ago I have been charged nearly three times my stay along with a dozen of random attempted charges to my bank account that was left empty by them. When contacting them, they seem to deny any charges and divert any sort of responsibility. Along with this the housekeeping team have the decency to steal a $1 bill from my bedside table, (not surprised). I am in the process of resolving this issue with my bank and suggest any one to stay away from this hotel chain in order to keep their wallet safe.
This hotel was just average this visit. While I know that that things are still recovering from COVID, there were many things promised on the website that were not available. We paid extra for our room to have a refrigerator and for access to the club lounge. The refrigerator shelves were broken inside. The club lounge did have coffee 24 hrs in a machine, but the hot water, and hot milk, and milk foam did not work. When I told someone, they said they didn’t speak English. Also, there were NO 24 hr snacks or anything out at breakfast as advertised Monday-Friday. NOTHING. And no note on website that things might be different due to COVID. I was very upset that we paid extra for things that were not working. Also, it states that the rooms are smart tv’s. They are not. Not even close. The only thing you can do is work the tv from your phone if you hook it up. There are no yoga channels, and no streaming ability. Also, the sleep timer on the remote didn’t work either, so that was problematic. The staff was very nice (the ones that could speak English). While I don’t expect everyone to speak English fluently, please have those that interact with the public on a regular basis at least have a little knowledge. The only thing that would bring me back to this hotel is the location, which being on top of the metro is a plus, and only 2 blocks from the White House.…
The Club Quarters at the corner of K Street and 17th NW, ideally located just two blocks from the White House and one Metro stop from happening Dupont Circle, provides comfortable accommodations to the non-expense-account traveler. We stayed over a July weekend, when the hotel trade in DC services tourists (many of them international), and our room rate averaged some $165 per night. Frankly, it was the room rate, as well as location, that was the draw for us. The room was spacious enough, and the furnishings sleekly modern. We could check all the required boxes: comfortable bed, easy-to-use shower, working plumbing, and most important of all good Wi-Fi. There was a small desk that we would have probably deemed inadequate if we had brought our laptops, but we hadn't, so that was fine. We only discovered the shared meeting space on the 2nd floor as we were checking out -- too bad, as we might have unwound there. There was no breakfast service, at least at the weekend, but the front desk did direct us to the Le Pain Quotidien directly across 17th Street, which gave CQ key-holders a 10% discount on their meals. And did I mention location? Location? Location? Flanking Farragut Square (with two Metro stops!), a block from Lafayette Park facing the White House, six blocks from the restaurant scene around 17th and P -- and triply convenient once we found the bus connections at our corner took us everywhere else we wanted to go.…
Club Quarters is an outstanding place to stay if you are looking for a hotel near the White House. The staff is friendly and attentive. The environment was very relaxing with a modern decor and also provided a great view! Couldn’t recommend more highly’
Very nice place to stay, staff were super kind. Rooms are very nice, very clean. I had a great view of the city. The hotel itself was a quite place. You’re in walking distance to good food, the White House and much more. I would absolutely come back!
The hotel has good rooms that are very clean. Staff in the hotel are great. The hotel should just do something about the rooms facing the busy road. A lot of noise could be heard all night from moving vehicles.
