One word describes this property - beige. Someone with a very poor aesthetic sense has designed this property to be the most boring in the world. the carpets in the room are especially galling - feels like someone has puked on it. the hotel seems to be terribly understaffed - it's customary to have to wait 15 minutes on the...

I have stayed at this property in the past and it is always consistently exceeding my expectations. Not only the location and the facilities are awesome but the hotel team is always so welcoming. This past weekend, they went out of their way being responsive to our needs. From our phone receptionist at Guest Services, Louiz, to our breakfast server,...

We stayed for two nights for a short DC visit. We had never been to DC before and just wanted to take a look around since we recently moved nearby. You cant beat what you get for the price. We had them keep our car for our time in DC. Its pricey, but is competitive in the area. My teenage...

I stayed at this hotel in January and the experience was very average. The hotel was not bad, but not great either. I chose this property for the value and my previous experiences with Westins/Starwood Properties. Staff was friendly at check-in and check-out, room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of warm...

The rooms are very clean and the hotel lobby is beautiful. Location is very good as you can quickly walk to CVS for snacks, and the White House. However, be aware of the excessive prices at the bar! My family participated in the "make a green choice" event which gives you a $5 voucher for food and drinks. I ordered...

Hello Valued Traveler, Thank you for staying at the Westin Washington DC City Center during your recent visit to our nation’s capital. We were happy to know that for the most part you did enjoy your stay at our hotel. Please accept our apologies regarding the confusion with the Make a Green Choice participation on your second night. It's a common business hotel, I would say. The room I had was rather outdated, and only basic amenities such as shampoo and body lotion. My bathrobe seemed rather dirty so chose not to use it. The signal on the tv was not great either so it freezes. The gym was very good and so was to room service menu....

We had a wedding party stay at the hotel over the weekend, and everyone in our party had a variety of different rooms. My room -- a standard King corner with a view of Thomas Circle -- was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Of course, Westin's signature "Heavenly Bed" is always a highlight of a stay at their properties. When we...

I got lucky that I was traveling to the District in the first week of the year, right after new year's, so I got a rate right around $100/night, which is low for this location. So my review is based on that kind of rate rather than $300/night or something you might see at other Westin locations in cities. But...

Avoid the "Interior rooms" (that have a window to the inside lobby instead of to outside). Very disappointing. Everything else was OK. Concierge and bell staff pleasant. Breakfast buffet adequate. But it's 1/2 mile from the White House so...

Check in was slow and when we got to our suite it smelt really bad of damp. Room was big though and bed extremely comfortable. However, on our first night after a transatlantic flight, we were kept awake by the most rowdy group of people in the hotel bar. As our room faced into the lobby there really was nothing...
