Great location within walking distance to so much. Surprising, Union Station came in very handy for Blue Bottle coffee trips and quick needs from Walgreens. Not as funky/hip as other Kimpton’s (a favorite brand of ours) but easily as personable with an AMAZING front desk staff (especially TC, Hunter, Benji). You made our wonderful stay that much better! We came for a mini vacation and then family get-together. Also saw a lot of business travelers. Everyone seemed very pleased. Comfortable rooms, etc.

The room was perfect, the staff was amazing free wine hour and valet parking! Ephrem was so helpful and caring towards us! If you get a chance come stay here and get to know ephrem! He remembered us everytime we came through the lobby and asked if he could do anything for us!

I loved this hotel! It has a great location, close to the Capitol, monuments and Union Station. I was there for business and often times alone, but I felt safe and secure. The beds are very comfortable and the room and bathroom are clean. The French restaurant is very nice and the food delicious. All the staff are kind and helpful, especially Ephrem and Benjamin! I will definitely come back!

everyone is so very nice, especially Ephrem! this is our new go to DC stay. We booked last minute on hotline and got a better room than we expected! the hotel goes out of its way with perks and services, local credit, in house credit, fast wi-fi, and even a free wine happy hour.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was unbelievably friendly and they had all the little extras we needed (i.e. Band-Aids- there is a lot of walking in DC). We especially enjoyed the complimentary wine hour with Ephrem and Marcel!

We stayed with family members ranging from 4 years old to 86. It was a great location, close to multiple transportation options and food. Close enough to walk to the Capitol building or even the National Mall if you are ambitious. 😉 We loved the morning coffee and enjoyed the wine hour a couple evenings, too. The hotel decor/theming is fun and perfect for DC. The best part of this hotel is the amazing staff, specifically Ephram and Solomon, who were incredibly welcoming and kind. Solomon even surprised our young sons with small teddy bear keychains when we left, which made their day!

Ephrem make my experience fabulous from the the first day by greeting and welcoming me. During my stay he was very helpful when I needed something, teabags and he even offered glass of wine describing the kinds of wine he had. Ephrem is passionate about his job and made my experience with Kimpton George memorable.

Great hotel, wonderful location convenient to Union Station, the Capitol and Supreme Court. Walked right over with my luggage upon arrival from NYC by train. Loved the daily wine bar at 5pm. Marcel the bartender is terrific!
