So the Hotel is ok. It's clean and the staff is attentive, but the rooms are small and the amenities are just ok. The ads and posting make it sound like some sweet boutique hotel, it's really just ok. On the Cons - nearly $60 a night for parking and you have no option but their valet. the neighborhood is sketchy sure it's close to Union Station and capital but it's also near a drug re-hab center for women and homeless missions. On the Pros - the Staff is great, the rooms are clean and they are very welcoming to dogs, although walking them at night is a bit of adventure. For my two cents it's not worth the price.

We had a terrific stay at The Hotel George! Sirey, Benjamin and Trevor at the front desk were very helpful and kind. Our dinner at Bistro Bis was fantastic with great service. We highly recommend Hotel George and Bistro Bis!!

Great location within walking distance to so much. Surprising, Union Station came in very handy for Blue Bottle coffee trips and quick needs from Walgreens. Not as funky/hip as other Kimpton’s (a favorite brand of ours) but easily as personable with an AMAZING front desk staff (especially TC, Hunter, Benji). You made our wonderful stay that much better! We came for a mini vacation and then family get-together. Also saw a lot of business travelers. Everyone seemed very pleased. Comfortable rooms, etc.

Sorry Kimpton, I just cancelled my reservation after discovering there is a resort fee that I wasn't notified of prior to booking. The most ridiculous part is that it doesn't even include anything useful! Unlimited phone calls? I have a cell phone! Car service? What for? Free internet when it's already free? What a ripoff. You just lost a customer.

Pluses: Bathrobe, yoga mat in the room, coffee machine, rooms are not small, cafe on the corner (for breakfast )and the french cafe in the building, location close to the station and many attractions, super nice personnel, especially Benjamin! Thank you for this experience. Minuses: Pillows could be better and the curtains require cleaning.
