I reserved three rooms for a few days to accommodate myself and several of my college students while attending a media conference and taking all kinds of educational tours. I could not be more pleased with my decision. The host was lovely, the house clean and well decorated, and the location could not be beat. We were able to walk...

I stayed in the Pembroke room, which came with its own A/C and fridge (which had plenty of free water). Too bad the ceiling fan didn't work. Since I was by myself, I found the room comfortable. I also liked that I was right next to the bathroom, since i tried to use it before the other people in the...

I travel to DC for work with some frequency and always plan to stay at the Cardozo House (even when clients or others would foot the bill at a much more expensive hotel). The location is superb, close to restaurants and music venues. There is a wonderful neighborhood feel, the Metro and the very fine DC Bike Rental system are...

We had a wonderful stay at the Cardozo Guesthouse - it's a cosy place to stay in a nice neighbourhood and inside it felt like home :) We were in the Duxbury room, which was spacious with a fridge containing bottled water. There are two other rooms on the level that you have to share a bathroom with but during...

Beautiful home - rooms are nice, a couple of them are small. I usually get the one at the front of the house (Hingham). There is a Trader Joes on 14th street so you can get snacks or stuff for breakfast, milk for your coffee, etc. Just watch out for long lines towards closing. The neighborhood is good, especially if...

If ever we'll go back to Washington, we will consider to stay at Cardozo Guest House. Well-maintained with free refreshments in the fridge inside our room. The common bathroom was very clean although it's being shared by 3 rooms on the second floor. The &Pizza near the stations is recommended.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Cardozo House in the Norwell Room. The location is wonderful. You are in quick walking distance of the Metro, Starbucks, Trader Joe's and lot's of wonderful establishments. The communication by Bed and Breakfast DC was FANTASTIC! They kept me informed, and made me feel very welcomed. :) I will definitely stay at Cardozo...

Of course, when visiting DC, finding an economical place to stay is a challenge. The Cardozo house is in a great neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the Metro, easy to reach from Reagan airport, and near a bunch of great places to eat. It's neat and has great bones and nice furnishings. Our room was at the front of...

In DC to visit our daughter on the weekend and wanted to give her a break from "housing" us. Experienced significant sticker shock over the hotel prices, which led us to seek an alternative. The Cardozo House fit our needs perfectly and the location close to stores (Trader Joe's) and many eating/drinking establishments was convenient. No issues with finding the...
