I recently went to the St. Regis Hotel with my (adult) daughter for high tea. Tea is served in an area of the lobby that is absolutely beautiful, although it was a bit noisy. The food was scrumptious and the chef is happy to make substitutions if requested. The two teas that we ordered were delicious; we would have purchased...

The St. Regis has a worldwide reputation for opulence that is tastefully done. The Washington DC version, located just steps away from The White House, certainly lives up to that lofty standard in every regard. But with the opening of the newly renovated Presidential Suite, the St. Regis has leaped over its own high bar. A pristine white foyer separates...

If you are looking for a quiet, classy, place for drinks, this is for you. Although the drinks are relatively pricey, they come with complimentary snacks (nuts, olives, popcorn), and the bartender was very pleasant. There was a TV showing the NCAA March Madness, but the volume was low, and it was easy to talk to others at the bar.

This is a classic, top-end, luxury hotel in the heart of DC and it hits the mark. We were treated like royalty. The attention to detail is what really makes the St. Regis stand out, from the time one checks-in, the service really stands out. You need something, a phone call has it delivered to your room promptly and professionally....

The General Manager, Mr. Martinez has selected & maintained a great team of staff at the St. Regis in Washington in all departments. I stayed there with my two kids and we all totally loved it. The rooms and the bathroom was really nice. The staff remembers us by our names and that was really awesome. Very short walk to the White House. Memorable stay indeed!

The service is unparalleled at this exquisite DC property. The gentlemen on the door, many of whom have been there 20 or more years, are attentive and gracious. Check-in was relaxed and accommodating. The concierge was extremely helpful. Bar staff were welcoming and friendly. Housekeeping was on our room as soon as we vacated it, and it was always spotless...

My husband and I were married at the St. Regis on February 25th. We worked with Elisabeth Thomas, the hotel's sales & catering director. Elisabeth is a true professional, and it was clear from the start that we were in good hands. Elisabeth worked with us and our coordinator to plan and execute a stunning event. The St. Regis treated...
