What a great place! The host/owners are such a nice family and are very accommodating. We stayed in one of the dry cabins, it was cozy, warm and quiet. There are hundreds of miles to explore on your atv/utv and they even have a wash station. Nice location with a gas station and restaurant close by.

The owner, Josh was nice enough and accommodating as we showed up early in the day and the cabin was ready so we could check in early. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. No complaints there. One of the things we value most though, is peace and quiet. That was not even close to what we experienced. There is... More

When I want to get away from the city this is the place to be. The scenery is incredible. The cabins are peaceful. Waking up here I felt so refreshed, and I enjoyed the camp robins greeting me in the morning. The Stark family is very welcoming, attentive to the guests needs, and a breath of fresh air. Thank you... More

We stayed at slide mountain cabins a couple of nights and enjoyed it a lot. We took one of their cabins. They are very clean, comfortable and cosy. We also met the owner of this place and we absolutely enjoyed their company. Jim, Anna, Josh and the whole family are open minded, very kind and respectful. We definitly recommend that... More

We happened across the Slide Mountain cabins and RV park later in our day and found it to be the perfect rest stop. Large sites for RV's with electric hook up and fire pits. Very clean washroom and shower facilities. Back from the highway, nice and quiet. Cute cabins that appear to be very well set up and maintained. Great... More

We stayed here in June of 2013, it was close to midnight when we pulled in and we were welcomed. Our first visit was just as great as our other two most recent stays, very clean, comfortable, the whole family is very helpful and accommodating. The pavilion was great, we sat by the inside fire with our beverages and relaxed... More

The family that owns/operates this place is amazing! We felt welcome and borderline pampered. We have rented a cabin on one visit and tent camped on another and both trips were great! The location is spectacular and the enclosed BBQ area worked out so well... Loved the porch swings and firepit inside... We have decided to make this a yearly... More

I stayed here in August of 2010 with my folks when we took a road trip from Anchorage to Fairbanks and back down again. We stayed in a cozy little cabin with a shower inside (I forget which number). I must say, the location, the cabin, AND the hosts were beyond exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of... More

We stayed in Cabin #5 on August 27, 2008. We were delighted not only with our cabin but also with our host. He made a point of coming over to our cabin shortly after we checked in to make sure we knew where the grills were located and to also make sure we understood how to turn on the heat... More
