The Arctic Panorama Lodge is located in a secluded area on the island of Uloybukt and has only 12 rooms. We treated ourselves to a superior room with a direct view of the fjord. The rooms are stylishly furnished. The meal is eaten together with all guests at one table and consists of 3 courses. There is a small sauna area in a separate house. For excursions in winter (we were there to see the Northern Lights) you are provided with warm overalls and winter boots. You can book various excursions. I can recommend the Arctic Panorama Lodge to anyone looking for peace and solitude.

Beyond our expectations. Didn't know what to expect being way north if the arctic circle. Found luxury, nature, warm hospitality and spectacular scenery all around us. The picture of the dining room only gives you a glimpse of the amazingly, beautiful scenery as you look at snow covered peaks around the fjord. Felt welcomed into their home. Our hosts attended quietly to every detail to make our stay what worked for us. Hospitality was genuine. Created special boat trip which worked for us. Brought along hot juice to warm our hands, as well as to enjoy. Great hikes, wildlife. Saw reindeer, minke whales, and variety of birds. Rooms are beautifully appointed, as well as functional. View from each room across the fjord. Wonderful home cooked meals. Highlight of our three week trip to Norway. We will go again.

I just spent five amazing nights at the Arctic Panorama Lodge, and it was such a memorable experience! Sven, the host, was absolutely brilliant—super friendly and always making sure we were looked after.

I got to tick off so many bucket-list items while I was there, like whale watching, husky sledding, snowmobiling, and, seeing the northern lights. Every activity was so well organised and added to the whole adventure.

The location of the lodge is just stunning. It’s really secluded, so there are no crowds or other tourists—just peace and incredible views. If you’re going, I’d definitely recommend staying in one of the cabins for the best views, I had a twin room in the lodge which was cosy and convenient to get to the dining area quickly but I was jealous of the cabins.

They also have you covered with practical stuff like snow suits and boots if you need them, which was a lifesaver in the cold!

Thank you for your fantastic review of Arctic Panorama Lodge! We are thrilled to learn that your four-night stay was so memorable. We are glad, that we could make you feel right at home. We’re excited that you had the opportunity to experience so many incredible activities, including whale watching, husky sledding, and snowmobiling, while also witnessing the mesmerizing northern lights. It’s great to know that each experience was well-coordinated and contributed to your overall adventure. The lodge's remote setting truly offers a serene escape, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, allowing you to fully appreciate the stunning scenery. We appreciate your suggestion to stay in the cabins for the best views, and we’re glad you found your twin room cosy and conveniently located near the dining area. We stayed as part of a group trip with the owners of Lodge Aud and Svein, who took care of our well-being with attention to detail and let us participate in their enthusiasm for this wonderful place. Aud provided us with delicious, even regional food, for vegetarians and vegans there was also something. Svein was able to tell wonderful stories from his homeland and bring the past to life, e.g. at a lecture on the Sami (indigenous people in the north) in the village community house. We had a very spacious superior room with a fairytale view of the fjord. After our activities we stomped barefoot through the snow into the sauna house and enjoyed the harsh weather in the hot tub. Our 3-day itinerary includes a whalewatching tour on a comfortable yacht in stormy weather with rain and snow and an extended dog sleigh ride in sunshine, both of which were incredibly impressive nature experiences - a family group of orcas hunting herring and trusty huskys (some of them real cuddly dogs) that we will remember for a long time to come. A big thank you to our organizers Svein, Nordic Expedition Cruises & Travel and Eisexpeditionen.de

The best hotelexperience I ever had: The hotel, the hosts, the surroundings.. I will surely return!!! The hosts really made us feel at home. The food, which is Nort-Norwegian costumary food, made of mostly local ingredients was fantastisc. The SPA experience one of the best I ever had. We altso went hiking around the northern part of the island, with paths and wievs that really gives you energy. I really recommend this place! Altså the trip from Tromsø with 3 ferrytrips and fantastic wievs of the Lyngenalps can really be recommended.

The (superior) room was very spacious and clean, large bathroom, wonderful underfloor heating and not to mention a great view over the fjord!
The food is well prepared, very tasty and on time, always concluded with something tasty😋.
Excursions wonderfully arranged. We were spoiled with 3 evenings of Northern Lights!
Wonderful spa and large jacuzzi with a beautiful view.
Svein and Aude do everything to give you a pleasant stay.
In short, we had beautiful days and, if possible, we would like to come sometime in the summer.

I stayed with a tour group over New Years Eve for four nights and had a fantastic time. Don't let the apparent remoteness of the location dissuade you, this is a fantastic place to visit and Sven anf his team will help you get there. You can stay in the lodge or in a cabin - we were in a cabin which was generously sized with excellent heating and water views. While we were there Sven organised for us to go whale watching, snow shoeing and dog sledding but he has many ideas if these don't appeal. The food was amazing- Aude is a great cook - a good selection for breakfast with hot and cold items, hearty lunch and a multi course meal for dinner. There is a full bar and Sven is happy to recommend local drinks. We all had a fantastic stay and I would recommend this to others.

We cannot recommend a stay at the Arctic Panoramic Lodge highly enough. We were looked after superbly from the minute we arrived - Sven anticipating our every need and Aud cooking us amazing food. Nothing is too much trouble. There was an incredibly friendly atmosphere amongst the guests and all excited that each night we might see the Northern Lights. Against all odds on our last night we had 3 hours of the most extraordinary light display in the sky outside. A moment to always remember. The views and activities are extraordinary night and day and we have to come back! Don't miss dog sledding and snowshoeing.

This is an amazing place, so peaceful, views from room & Lodge great, food exceptional ( we had breakfast & dinner). Svein & Aud made us very welcome. Despite the unseasonable weather we saw the Northern Lights three out of the four nights we were there.
Cabin rooms were spacious, comfortable & the bathroom facilities good.
Daily check if room needed cleaning etc.
if you wish too book the activities choice & the spa are fine. We opted for a restful time which was greatly enjoyed.
Meals all severed at one table and we were very fortunate with the other guests, which made the break even better.
Strongly recommend this Lodge.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Arctic panorama Lode.
The warm welcome from Aud and Svein was the start of a wonderful stay at the lodge. Our superior room with the beautiful view left nothing to be desired.
The full board was excellent, lots of choice and above all delicious.
Excursions were well arranged and provided with a lot of personal attention.
